Have always been a big fan of their TikTok content and have been following them since it only had one location. Finally made it here few weeks ago.The service was not it, rude and just overall uninviting. It felt like they were doing you a favor for even speaking to you. We ordered two drinks, it was ok.
It was relatively an easy weekday morning, traffic was just fine. I don’t see any reason for this kind of treatment
There’s also a girl on TikTok who recently made a review of the place talking about the negative interaction she had with one of the staff and rating of food/ drinks. In my opinion she was very tame, if not even holding back on the rating for food/ drinks.
Here is what really gets me, I don’t even care about the mid food and bad service anymore. I don’t live here, and probably won’t be back.
The owner then responded with a video which did not feel sincere. Liking comments on “people do anything for attention”, “she’s doing too much”.
Blocking people and deleting comments that are anything remotely ‘against’ her. Such as many people commented that feedbacks are crucial to growing a business. People sharing similar experience they had at her shops. All deleted
Clearly she does not care about building a community and improving as a whole.
I find this extremely unprofessional. Let's consider feedback, as many customers have experienced the same issues with your team's customer service. It’s time to take some accountability.
This really caused me to lose all respect for the owner and her shops. I honestly didn't feel like writing a review a few weeks ago, but this compelled me to act.

Disclaimer: the coffee here is GREAT. But, this location, compared to the one in providence is not as good and has higher prices. My BF’s breakfast sandwich was super burnt and tasted bad. Mine was ok but I think I would have rather gone somewhere else for the price. For 2 breakfast sandwiches and 2 latte’s I paid $37.42. That was painful… too expensive… but I think the coffee at the most is worth it.

I ordered the fruit loop and omg? Tastes exactly like the milk you sip once you finish your fruit loops. Okay update - our food never came after waiting an hour (literally) they then said it would take at least 30 more minutes to make it and they don’t have time so they’d just refund us. We asked for them to just make the food they said it was not an option and offered us something from the fridge. Shame because the fruit loop drink was so good!

Stopped here during our day trip from Boston to Newport and were pleasantly surprised by this place! We have done extensive traveling throughout the US and this has to have been one of our favorite, if not favorite coffee shops we have ever been to!
Coffee drinks were fantastic and it seemed like the flavor options and combos were endless! Drinks are highly customizable and fun ? We had the pumpkin spice dirty chai and a cherry vanilla latte (both iced) and they were both amazing! We love to support small businesses while traveling and you can tell that this establishment is run with love and attention to detail. If you’re a cold brew enthusiast or coffee lover in general, I highly recommend!

This place is beautiful! I am all about supporting local businesses, however every time I come here the staff is rude. My friend bought a $9 avocado toast and when it came out we were all shocked to see how it was literally a piece of toast with the thinnest spread of avocado. We made sure to give it a shot and my friend didn't like how it tasted at all, she only took a bite, and she went up to the barista and politely told her how it unfortunately wasn't very good. The barista dismissed her saying "Okay..? You can just throw it in the trash." I just found how it was a bit rude since my friend payed $9 for a small piece of bread with a sliver of avocado on it. All im saying is that usually at the restaurant I work at, I make sure every customer is seen and heard, and if anything is ever wrong with their food- even if they're a little annoying about it, I always offer alternatives. I think this is the last time I'll come here which makes me very sad because I've been living in Newport for three years and every time I try to give Nitro a shot, I'm disappointed. Rude staff, watered down coffee, and expensive food that doesn't taste good is not worth me trying to keep giving this place a shot. Pretty view though!

Quaint little coffee shop off the beaten path with plenty of options for hot/cold coffee & tea, and small plates. Highly recommend the blueberry muffins - they definitely do not skimp on the blueberries! Only downfall is the limited (and close quarter) seating options...maybe 20 seats total. A bit pricey as well - paid $15 for a latte and a muffin, but hey - what do you expect in Newport?! Cheers!
