We were up from Atlanta to visit a few cities. We ended here and were more than pleasantly surprised. Of all the places we went to, it had genuinely great service, kind people, very good food, excellent bar service, good music and a fun vibe! Enjoyed it!!

My husband and I happened across this spot when staying at the nearby Brenton and were immediately drawn in by the cozy but relaxed vibe! The night we went (Monday) there was a live jazz band playing and it was bottomless spaghetti and meatballs night which was fun and interesting! They also offered a solid list of cocktails as well as some unique menu offerings like ‘shot & a beer.’
We will definitely be back on our next trip to Newport!

Tucked away and very close to the Marriott we found this hidden gem of Newport. Pizza was amazing! We got a traditional, pepperoni. And a specialty which was called Fourth of July. Both made us leave saying we would be back. A must try if you’re looking for good pizza, great atmosphere and casual hometown feel.

This is a sleeper hit. Go out of your way to come here, the food and service were top notch. It's clear the food is all made from scratch with local ingredients. The server we had for lunch was lovely and great at her job.

Was concerned at first when service was a little slow but ended up being one of the best meals I’ve had in Newport after living here for a year. Drinks were so-so but the pizza and pasta was 10/10 and very well priced. Our waiter was fantastic as well! Don’t miss this spot, especially if you’re enjoying the post-tourist summer

Quencher is such a gem! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the music set the perfect vibe for the evening. I ordered the specialty drink “Something Fizzy” along with the “Funghi” for dinner, and both were absolutely delicious. Our waitress went above and beyond—she was attentive, checked on us often, and even recommended my entrée and drink, which turned out to be perfect choices. Between the great service, fantastic food, and lively atmosphere, I can’t recommend Quencher enough!

Great food and great service. Burgers were cooked perfectly and the pizza is really good. Staff working there were very friendly and fun.
Worth taking a little trip over to Long Wharf for a bite here, easy recommend.

So, we stumbled across this place after another place we were going to was closed.
Ironically, as we were walking and talking about The Quencher a local told us that he considered it “ Upscale Bar Food”, so we decided to give it a shot.
The food is really good, calamari amazing, burgers juicy and full of flavor. However, they could stop serving all of that and be one of the best Pizzeria’s in the United United States!
I have had pizza in Rome, Naples, and everywhere else that I have traveled and this is amazing pizza!!! The crust is super flavorful, has the right amount of char and leopard print, the sauce is super flavorful and compliments everything well and their cheese is on point. Seriously, they should be packed everyday with people wanting pizza like this as well as having a walk up window that sells slices to a line that wraps around the block!
Also wanted to give a shout out to Taylor and Emma for the recommendation on Pizza when we weren’t even looking for it, as well as the awesome service!
