This bar and eatery was very local to where we were staying on vacation and I ended up going 3 nights in a row! The bartender Amanda was super pleasant and made one hell of old fashion! Was there during the Halloween karaoke on Saturday 10/26/24 and had a blast! If you’re in the area stop by and have Amanda make you a drink!

First time at The Quencher. Great little pub with an Italian flare!! Will definitely come back!! Food was excellent! We had the 2 drinks each, the Calamari appetizer and Focaccia Bread and 2 entrees… Swordfish Milanese and Chicken Marsala… both were delicious. My only critiques/suggestions… I’d prefer my wine in a wine glass. Not a rock glass! (Apparently you must request a wine glass!) And it would be great to put a little cruet of EVOO on the table, especially with the Focaccia Bread!! Like I said, we’ll definitely come again! There are several other things on the menu that caught my eye!! I really hope this place succeeds in Newport!! Grazie Mille, Quencher!

My friends and I spent several evenings at The Quencher over the summer. The service is excellent and Amanda the bartender is the best!! she was absolutely fabulous.

Nice view of the harbor from upstairs deck and bar. Nice looking bar and dining room downstairs. Our server Margo was very attentive and sweet. Food is excellent. Employees as well as other customers were friendly. Music was great. We will be coming here often.
