Wonderful experience, beautiful view of the sunset. Carla was such a great waitress, great service and very kind. Would recommend this place to others.

It’s a rooftop bar with a somewhat limited view (think 1/4 of roof or less). Tried to order food and what seemed normal (mayonnaise) was not available. Cute if you’re ok with that.

Had a wonderful time. Spa was excellent.
We stayed here last weekend. We stayed in the junior “suite” when I say suite I literally mean it’s like sleeping in a trailer. There Is a constant noise in the room. The room just has a dirty feeling. The tile in the bathroom is nasty, there are stains on the ceiling. We stay at this hotel all the time and it is just loosing its touch. So disappointed definitely not worth $780 for one night on off season. Total joke.
Don’t have your wedding here. They dont care about you or your guests experience and interactions. They dont uphold their contract and just tell you its your fault for not having a day of coordinator. They try to hide price increases through the planning process and when you point it out they may do it this as a “courtesy” They have poor communication in planning, day of and after. Overall experience can sum up to they cant be bothered but will cash the check. But the foods great. New chef excellent. Linda, excellent. Almost everyone could use a refresher on hospitality and how not to be phony.
Beware of destination fees. Gifted my parents two nights away paid for only to arrive to a bill of $100 for their two nights stay. This made that hotel over $300 a night. Not worth it. My parents found trash in their room behind night stand and used contact lenses on their heater. Lovely.
Everything. Terribly managed. Dilapidated.
It could have been nice, but service is infrequent and not very inviting. The food was ok. A couple dishes were good, a couple were just…not. Particularly bad was the grilled cheese. Brie killed it.
The vibe after sunset started nicely—warm fires at the tables, plenty of small lights lining the perimeter. Then at 8:00 a super bright white spotlight automatically kicked on and it felt like being at a high school soccer game or IKEA parking lot. Absolutely destroyed the mood. Really disappointing.

First time visiting newport with my boyfriend who was excited to show me around. We were served water with a glass that was clearly dirty with lip prints. We then ordered oysters which on one of them, it had a metal in it and if my boyfriend hadn’t seen it, he could have ingested it! They really didn’t seem to give a sh$$t about it. The burger was okay - nothing to rave about. We expected better service and food as it’s very pricey. Wouldn’t recommend.

I walked 11 miles to get here and was very excited for good food and drinks. It took us 1.5 hours to get our food even though the rooftop was basically empty. The food they brought out was thawed and cold. They had to remake everything. They forgot our drinks for 30 minutes. They also have red food colored corn chips which is strange for a high end resort. They then rang our card they had on file and brought out a bill for us to provide another card? Very mismanaged place, service is abysmal, food is utterly inedible (I got food poisoning), and place is quite run down. Avoid this place and go to the Vanderbilt rooftop where you will experience service and edible food.
