The service from Elise was excellent and her insights helped us make great choices. All of the food was very good. We highly recommend the eggplant rollotini appetizer.

This restaurant is named after a town in the Italy region of Pulgia. Having been in this region I was looking forward to eating here .The entrees that I had were mediocre, and the Bolognese Sauce was nutmeg heavy… ruined the dish. First time there, so I would chance going again. In addition, they have a bar with live entertainment which was a pleasant surprise .

We had a few physical issues that needed to be considered so we could dine comfortably. Vieste was SO ACCOMMODATING and made us feel extremely welcome! Our food was delicious, our service was wonderful and the atmosphere was so cozy and comfortable! We will definitely be back!!

Osso buco was tender and delicious. Great bartender. It was my first visit and look forward to returning.

This was our first time trying this restaurant. I loved the atmosphere and the food was delicious. Lots of menu items to choose from. Unfortunately our waiter was very abrupt and rushed us along the entire time. We may try it again, hoping for a different waiter, but he definitely put a negative spin on our relaxing evening.

I absolutely will never step foot in this establishment ever again. The problem wasn't the food, drink or the waitress, it was the way we were made to feel when we called the restaurant to let them know, we were stuck in traffic. The hostess, who I believe went by the name, Mary, informed us that because we were going to be late, it would take away from the time that we could spend at the table. I am a business owner myself, and I understand that every business must have policies to follow but the way in which you handle them sets you apart. when we arrived, we were told oh you're not late, even though it was 10 past our reservation time. We were a little bit taken aback, but after a great meal and good conversation, we received the check and was about to depart from the table when the same woman came over to the table and basically told us that we had to get up because they needed a table, despite half the dining room being empty both upon arrival and departure. Never in my life, in my 20 years in Newport, dining at other various high end establishments ever been treated so paltry. In a location, in a Town with a notorious traffic and parking problem, a little grace would be expected.

Outstanding ambiance, great appetizers, drinks. Great wait staff. The main courses were below average. Chicken parmesan was fair at best. Chicken coating was soggy, the sauce was thick and too sweet. Pasta was overcooked. I would go there again, but just for the drinks and appetizers

Cute little place in Newport, loved the ambience. The service was great. My husband and I shared the mixed greens salad, which was plentiful and delicious. I had the Rigatoni Bolognese...perfect! My husband wasn't so thrilled with his meatball and spaghetti. It's one GIANT meatball, but there was too much fennel in it, and it wasn't cooked enough, so the consistency was a bit mushy. And they had only two choices for dessert, neither of which we wanted. Overall, though, I would recommend this restaurant to visitors to Newport.

Our waitress was pleasant and helpful. We had a lovely dinner, and with 8 people, it was speedy. Thanks for a lovely night!

Food was excellent. Ordered pasta piccata de pollo and Pappardelle & mushrooms. The focaccia bread was amazing! Super soft and slightly warm. Reisling wine was also good. Service was stellar.

A friend suggested this stylish / popular spot, where even on a busy night a very welcoming & attentive feel. Dined on the patio and followed our servers’ recs (Eliza); burrata & greens followed by freshly seared tuna. Absolutely delicious! Highly recommend. Reservations a good idea. Hospitality plus++

My sister and I visited Vieste the friday night of Newport's seafood festival this year and it was amazing! Our hostess, Mary, was so sweet and seated us at the perfect table so we could enjoy the great band but still be able to talk without yelling. The food was absolutely delicious. Yes, a little pricey but worth every savory bite. Our waitress Eliza was wonderful, and the ambiance was cozy and elegant! In fact the dinner was so great we returned the following night with our other two sisters so they could experience the restaurant as well. And again it perfect! I will definitely return!
