West Wind was always my favorite place in Newport !!! With the BEST customer care around. Thank you Luca for the many great years of service you provided me and my family. Fast forward to today we now have KAYLA, the new "Dock Master" who would rather lose a 10+ year customer than do the right thing over a few dollars. Would NOT recommend. Dangerous and loud area with no security until 1pm even though there are TWO clubs on the premises. When I addressed this issue with the owner he WALKED AWAY from me while I was speaking. I have not been treated so disrespectfully in a long time.
First off I want to be clear about the reason for 2 stars. It is not a reflection of the staff or hospitality as everyone was very friendly and the dock hands were great when we arrived.
We tried to book another marina in the area but they were full. After someone suggested to try West Wind we have them a call.
