My wife & I were there on July 26 with friends for dinner. I had the Shepard Pie which was excellent and my wife had salmon which was great too. The other people had pizza. For our waitress we had KATHERINE who was exceptional. Thank you for having her on your staff.
Always responsive, friendly, always going out of their way for special orders.
We found the Coach Inn & Saloon while driving along the R.I. shoreline. The menu looked both reasonable and inviting. We were greeted upon entering and promptly seated. In addition to their standard bill of fare, they have daily specials. On this day, it was Monday Mania where they offered some excellent two-for-one choices, including salad, an entree, and a bottle of wine for $45. Carriage Inn is an excellent place with friendly staff and good food. Enjoy delicious meals like French onion soup, shepherd's pie, and chicken and eggplant caprese, along with standout dishes such as Asian Calamari, Prime Rib, baked stuffed shrimp, and the cape cod Ruben. The hot rolls and side salads come in generous portions, and the blackened chicken salad is fresh and plentiful. In the summer, outdoor dining is a great choice, while cozy rooms with a wood-burning fireplace are perfect for the cold months. The restaurant also hosts fun events like Dining with the Dead and comedy shows, offering a wonderful dining experience. With an extensive wine list, good pours, and reasonably priced meals like the $41 Prime Rib plate, it’s a great spot for lunch or dinner. Don’t miss desserts like the phenomenal peanut butter pie—highly recommended!
