REALLY DISAPPOINTING Mother's Day Brunch. $45 a person for cold, rubbery food. It tasted old and was definitely not fresh. The scrambled eggs were hard and crumbly. The beef was so tough it was inedible. And I don't know what that chicken was, but it certainly was NOT chicken francaise. Blech. Our server was nice but seating was cramped. It seemed like they had not planned for our party size even though we made a reservation well in advance. Really bummed because we ate here for Valentine's Day and enjoyed it. Sorry to say we won't be back to this Rhode Island institution. Too expensive for crappy food!!

Mother's Day buffet was awful. Food was either way overcooked or cold. Cold eggs. Cold carving station meat. Baked stuff shrimp were so overdone we couldn't even eat them. For $45 a person we expected much better! Seating was cramped. Terrible experience for paying over $600 for our family ☹️ Really bummed out. The only plus was our server was nice.

I have always LOVED DAN’S. The last time I was here, I was told the new owners were at the next table. I’m so disappointed. I dreamt of the sunshine salad all afternoon, and when I realized it was gone, the bartender and I tried to recreate it with the Cobb. I asked for no blue cheese and substituted ranch dressing, and got a mountain of blue cheese and blue cheese dressing. It was huge, but kinda gross. The avocado was the weirdest color I have ever seen. I'm so disappointed. I think you're putting profits over quality. 🤮

We had our grandmother’s birthday in their function room and our server, Laurie, went ABOVE and beyond. She made our night absolutely wonderful. She was incredibly patient, professional and thoughtful and took care of our last minute requests. I would highly recommend hosting any sort of party there!
