I came home for a week to visit my family and my niece recommended this place and it didn't disappoint at all. I'm from the city but live in North Carolina...so having the hometown feeling walking in was everything. My order was taken by a very upbeat and friendly young woman and she knew my order before I was finished lol.... I explained it was for my niece and sister in law and I was visiting. Food was ready in less than 10 and there isn't anything left to even take a picture 😊😊. Thank you from Chef Cupcake.... I'll be back soon and we'll be dinning in too.

Called to check the wait time before bringing my daughter in for Father’s Day breakfast and was met with immediate rudeness. I politely asked if there was a long wait, and the employee responded, “Obviously, it’s Father’s Day. It’s first come, first serve, okay?” before hanging up on me. I understand holidays are busy, but there’s no excuse for treating customers this way. Very disappointing experience.

This was legit a 12 seconds conversation before she hung up on me.

We live in the neighborhood and love being able to walk here! We’ve taken my parents (in their 70’s), friends, and family and they’ve all loved the menu, service, and especially the noise level. It was packed on a Saturday and you could have a normal conversation. My dad wears a hearing aid and he couldn’t get over 1) how amazing the food was and 2) how it wasn’t too noisy. We LOVE YOU Rhody Hen!!!

Did not even get to eat. Walked in asked to be sat at a table for breakfast they had a wait list and requested a table specifically, they tried to sit us at the bar. I told the server we requested a table and she proceeded to tell me I would have to wait for another opening while they had three open tables that they sat people at who had came in after us. My husband and I left because we felt is if the staff treated us that way upon entering we didn't want to experience how they handled our food.

Had such a great experience at The Rhody Hen! From the moment we walked in, the service was amazing. Even while the place was busy, the staff stayed friendly, attentive, and on top of everything without making anyone feel rushed or ignored. You could tell they were working hard, but they still kept such a welcoming and positive atmosphere.

The food was delicious, fresh, and came out quickly, and honestly everything we ordered was so good. The restaurant itself felt clean, cozy, and well maintained.

Overall, everything about this spot was amazing. Great food, amazing service, and such a comfortable atmosphere even during a busy rush. Definitely a breakfast place I’d happily come back to again!

The food is always amazing and consistent. I wish it was bigger there can be a wait and lines sometimes but it's worth it. The staff are very friendly and nice and the bathroom is always clean.

Consistently the BEST breakfast in Rhode Island. We go every other week and have been the past year. Never once, not ONCE, had a bad or even mediocre experience. Wonderful staff, wonderful food, fun specials, fast service, truly a staple I hope lasts forever. We love Rhody Hen! 🫶🏼

Absolutely LOVE the Rhody Hen!!! Staff are friendly, pleasant and kind. Food is amazing!!! The only problem I have with the Rhody Hen is that the seating is too small 😢 they need to expand and it would be such a great place to sit down and have breakfast ❤

My kids took me here for my 60th birthday I have to say the blueberry pancakes was outstanding! and the Cuban breakfast sandwich was on point. We were all satisfied with the service and food. Big servings I had to get a doggie bag for mine. I would high recommend Rhody Hen cafe.

The little black metal chairs are very uncomfortable and not handicap friendly. Asking for more accommodating seating led to upset from the young waitresses, but it was eventually allowed. It also took a very long time to recieve a requested glass of water, which I needed to take my medications. And my order was wrong (I asked for gluten free French toast and received pancakes which I really hope were GF because gluten can make me very sick- their GF options are the reason why my husband and I have been visiting this place). I ate some of the pancakes anyway because I was pretty much over it at this point.

The food's good, and so is the pricing. I was excited for the French toast. Disappointing. I left feeling unsatisfied and burdensome.
