“I picked up a plate from Auntie's House, and it did not disappoint. The meal included rice, well-seasoned chicken, corn, lettuce, tomato, onions, and jalapeños, along with a side of sweet plantains. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and well-balanced. The portion was generous, and at $18, it felt like a great deal. The chicken was cooked perfectly, the plantains were sweet and tender, and the whole plate was satisfying without being heavy. The ambiance was nice, with good music in the background. The tables are clean, so I have no complaints. I would definitely order again.“

“I've loved Matilda's for years, and I'm always so excited when they turn up at an event I'm attending. So it was a no brainer for me to book them for my wedding. I cannot recommend them enough! The empanadas are delicious, with so many different ones to choose from! They are punctual, and kind, and their prices are beyond reasonable. They really helped to make our day special and our guests continue to rave about them. “I liked the food variety they had. The service was polite and professional. I had the goat stew and the meat was juicy and it practically melted from being so tender. They gave me a good portion of avocados green boiled bananas and yautia. They also have a great variety of fresh juices. It's a small shop but very clean and tidy!“

“This is the second time I've ordered from here and I'm always pleased. The gentleman who answers the phone is always nice. The food is really good and flavorful. I always get the shrimp mofongo they put enough shrimp sauce on it so it's not dry which I love. I do recommend this place.“
