Popped into Schooners one night about a year ago because the bar up the street was closed. What do they say, Fate? It's a BAR! Nothing else, a BAR! That is what is awesome about it! No frills, no thrills, no trendy fakeness! It's a bar, and I love it! Enough TV's, sometimes live music, and exceptional prices. Bartenders are friendly and sweet.

Quiet little dive bar with great service and reasonable prices. Daytime music on Saturdays is awesome. I think they may have music other times too, but their online and SM updates are infrequent.

Went here in the afternoon for a few rounds of pool and some ping pong out back. The bartender was very friendly and it had an all around nice atmosphere to hang out and play games. The back patio area with ping pong and corn hole was unexpectedly large and nice!

My partner and I had a really strange experience the last time we drank here a few days ago.
We popped in for a beer or two to end the night and we finished up our drinks around 5-10 minutes after closing, and we already closed the tab. The bar was still pretty full at this point, at least a handful of people other than us. I stopped in the bathroom before we left for maybe 2 minutes, and when I walked out, the entire staff, including some people I did not recognize, were just ushering everyone out the door. My partner filled me in and let me know they just randomly got together to get everyone out. By the time we stepped out, it was only about 10 past.
That was already weird to me, it just seemed they were a little quick to bluntly kick out every single patron. The thing is, I wouldn't have even posted this today if my partner didn't get an email from his bank asking if he meant to tip 40% on the tab from that night. We closed the tab ourselves and there is absolutely no way he elected to tip that amount, but that is how much they ran on his card.
We have stopped by a few times when we've been in town because they are the only bar open late and never had an experience like this. We will definitely be very hesitant to go in again even though we used to really like popping in for live music, or just for a last stop of the night.
