Perfect neighborhood dinner. Always has creative specials (jalapeno Popper burger pictured) and super tasty breakfast. Can get busy on Saturdays so come prepared for a bit of a wait.

10/10 one of the best breakfast restaurants we've ever been to! The crunch wrap and the breakfast burrito were both delicious and beyond filling. Be prepared to eat your heart out or take leftovers home. Hope to visit again someday!

Here to commend the chef on not only cooking perfect food, but for also running food to tables and helping the other staff where he could. He absolutely deserves the recognition.
Food was amazing and staff did amazing despite the small quarters and insanely packed restaurant! A must go.

Excellent food! We were in from Louisville, KY for a family wedding. I looked up brunch places near where we were staying and this little spot popped up. The pumpkin cheesecake French toast was out of this world! I also tried the potatoes and sausage that family got and it was all SO good. And reasonable! Highly recommend this spot if you’re local OR visiting! Awesome portions too. My picture may not be the most flattering thing ever, but trust—it is SO yummy!

Classic Dinner with Modern menu and decor. Had the Big and lil Rig as well as Dozer on this visit, all top notch most notably the house made sausage and sweet bread French toast. Great Value.

I came here while visiting from out of town. This is a really cute breakfast and lunch place. It is very bright inside due to a lot of windows. I had a seat by a window which was open a crack, so there was a nice breeze. I came a little after 7 am on Labor day and was able to get a seat right away, but when I left, it was starting to get busier. I got the Not so Simple. The bacon was well done. The potatoes were good. I really liked the toast. It was not normal sandwich bread and it was on the thicker side. The coffee came in a large mug. I would come again for sure.

Driving outside, this just looks like someone’s house along West Main Road but it is 100% worth stopping. Great breakfast food, huge portions, and at a decent price. The staff were friendly and the service was fast. Will be back during my weekends here in Newport.

Very solid diner.
Best diner in town! Great food and amazing staff, wish the dining rooms were a tad bit larger and more comfortable. The standalone chief was a beast! Solo and zero delay on the food orders.

Yum! Yum! Yum! Drove by this place so many times. I always wanted to stop. It’s so worth the stop. Small place but cute. Jax is right out front with a deep in thought look on his face while he’s cooking away. He chatted with my husband and I and was very nice. The food was so good. I had the big rig and my husband had the cowboy. French toast was bomb, the biscuit was moist, hash had a nice outside crispness, home fries were great. Loved it. Will definitely check it out again.
Excellent experience! Owner is wonderful and food is outstanding. Can’t wait to come again!
