My daughter, wife and I were in for breakfast in October of 2024. It was the first time we were there since new ownership and we are from Pennsylvania. Excellent food and everyone was so nice! Even for having an infant with us, the staff were so kind and helpful. Thank you! We will be back this October. :)

First timer at JAX. the moment I walked in was greeted very friendly. Only waited less than 10 mins till food was served fresh and hot! Super stuffed with delicious flavors. Their hash is to die for. If you’re around the area I highly recommend JAX Diner, you will not be disappointed. Prices are very fair and affordable.

What are pleasant surprise, while taking the back roads to avoid the 195/95 mess heading to Connecticut from Massachusetts we stopped in. Great old school family diner vibe, food was out of this world and the service was friendly and welcoming. Our only complaint is that you are so far away from us, we would go everyday. Top notch

I ordered a takeout order at 1105, website said it would be ready at 1135. I showed up at 1130 and didn't leave until 12. The "waiting area" consists of 1 bench, and if there are more than 3 people waiting, it gets extremely crowded. At 1140, one of the waitresses asked if I was there for a mobile order, I confirmed, then waited another 20 minutes to recieve the food. I never saw the chef bag the order or put it on the to-go shelf. Finally the cook asked if anyone was coming for my order, the waitress asked me again what was in my order, handed it to me and told me to have a good day. Once I finally got my food, drove 3 minutes back to my house, popped the boxes open, and my food was cold as if it had been sitting for 30+ minutes on the to-go shelf. The biscuits and gravy were quite disappointing. The biscuits were very dry, and the "sausage gravy" did not have any sausage in it, it had ground beef. It tasted exactly like beef stroganoff on crackers. The "crispy" bacon was very floppy and sad (almost like it had been sitting for 30+ minutes). The eggs were cold, the cinnamon crunch french toast was very dry on the inside and soggy on the outside somehow (and it was also cold like the rest of the order).
This place has wonderful reviews, and i don't want to turn anyone away from it just because I had a bad experience, but I don't think I can recommend take out from Jax. The staff seemed very friendly, the food I saw go to the tables looked and smelled good. I honestly think it could be a one off experience, and I may try them again in the future (dine in only). I also will never order their biscuits and "sausage" gravy again.
