I love all of their products and have never had anything bad however if I had to give an honest opinion is that some of the employees definitely make a more pleasant experience than others and that also affects the quality of the product. Great establishment for sure however I just wish that all the employees were consistent but they are not but most definitely it's not terrible it's actually pretty good 90% of the time The customer experience anyways.

Egg Plate and Cold Nitro Brew were great. Really busy so it took 20 minutes, but happy to hang out and chat while we waited.

A fabulous start for the day here, coffee and an almond croissant for Mrs. K. and I as we're driving through Rhode Island.

Tucked away in what was obviously once a domestic house and carefully transformed into a welcoming café, Kaffeology in Portsmouth feels like a well-kept secret. Although you can still feel the bones of the house, the conversion is tactful and sensitive, and the flow is surprisingly good for a coffee shop. It's the type of location where you naturally speak more quietly - not because you have to, but rather because the ambiance encourages serenity.

The almond croissant went well with a well-pulled espresso and was fragrant and crunchy without being too sugary. The fact that Mrs. K. gave her latte the thumbs up is no small accomplishment. The sitting, both indoors and out, was varied enough to accommodate a short visit or a long morning, and the service was friendly yet unobtrusive. With just enough individuality in the décor to be well-curated without being fussy, the area exudes a subtle charm.

Kaffeology is worth the trip if you're traveling through Aquidneck Island and need a restorative, rather than hurried, break. It aims to be terrific rather than trendy, and that's just what makes it memorable.

I visited the Portsmouth location for the second time this morning and this is a perfect first date spot imo. The large wraparound deck is so cute & cozy, like a farmhouse porch. & the coffee 🤩 I had a tiramisu latte last time, a cherry Garcia latte this time- I was not disappointed either time, the flavors were accurate without being overwhelming or weakening the espresso, & oh so delicious. The food is even better; the attention to detail & balance of flavor in the dishes is off the charts. I recommend the avocado toast or whipped feta plate, and if you’re not into coffee, their teas and lemonades are just as amazing.

Drink was OK. service was OK. I tried the cafe two times and just couldn’t get over the dirty facility and dead plants everywhere- all over the windowsill, near the doors, bathroom. The majority of plants were dead/dying. Chairs were covered in dirt and felt gross.

Kaffeology is fantastic! Before arrival, take care to drive slow, as this place is on a major road that connects the whole of Aquidneck Island. It is also located near a school, so driving the speed limit is recommended as there may be a police officer parked nearby looking to keep the streets safe and insurance premiums stabilized.

Parking is ample, though, and outdoor seating is more widely available than indoor. So, if you see a lot of cars parked, but no one outside, you can assume its crowded.

Service tended to be a tiny bit slow, but patience is a good thing to practice for me! I really enjoyed both the gluten-free sandwich and the coffee. The sandwich was a healthy portion, and well worth the tiny wait and price. It was a maple salt sausage, egg, and cheese, and the taste blend was immaculate.

I'll be back for another Aquidneck Island breakfast!

The food here is incredible. I do just have to say that I am writing this review solely based on the service that I received the past five visits they blatantly ignore your entire existence and they look like they’re miserable twiddling their thumbs in the back like they’re pissed off that you’re there. I am not want to read a Google review, but this is literally has been Irritating me and I feel like this needs to be addressed.

Excellent coffee!! The best around! I have not been disappointed with any of the drinks I have ordered. Highly recommend! This location also has a big porch with tables that is so relaxing to enjoy your delicious drinks on! I come back every time I visit the area! Their Newport location is just as great, only smaller and more crowded, but I highly recommend both. Kaffeology is amazing!!
