We were there this past weekend and after reading the reviews and the response from the owner (who honestly seems like a very lovely person who sincerely cares about the business) it's difficult to write a negative review. The sandwich was not good. Soggy wet steak with one slice of cheese for a steak and cheese? It was a sour taste ti the meat as well. The pizza, the crust was amazing, although it would have been nice to enjoy it if everything did not slide right off. The staff was not friendly on Sunday, seemed as if it was more we were a bother that we came in which was unfortunate since we read the nice reviews. You can tell the owner cares .. maybe we just came on the wrong day. I don't think we would try again because first impressions are everything in this business.

I wanna start by saying I love pizza and this has to be the absolute worst place I've ever eaten from. One bite of the steak and cheese turned my stomach and the pizza has a very weird after taste. I absolutely would not recommend this place. If I could leave 0 stars I would, oh and the best part was it was $30 and I threw it all away.

BEST pizza in Portsmouth!! Thin, great sauce, and the perfect amount of cheese! The pasta and meatballs are awesome also!
Recently got takeout two different nights. (1) 3 large pizzas- Cheese, Mushrooms, Pepperoni. Honestly, the best pizzas on the island, cooked perfectly. Crust is really awesome and I really like the marinara sauce. Prices very reasonable. Employees all nice., (2) Angel hair with meatballs/sausages, Angel hair with sweet shrimp. Garlic bread with both. EXCELLENT all around. LARGE portions. Lots of meatballs, sausages, and shrimp! Owner is awesome and cares about his customers. I’m definitely looking forward to trying out other items on their extensive menu. Thanks for being my go-to pizza restaurant.

Have you ever known you liked a song only a few seconds into it? Well thats how I felt after visiting Martino's after only having the buffalo chicken pizza I know that every single item of food on that menu is just as delicious if not more so. I truly enjoyed every single bite it literally had me feeling like the rat from ratatouille after eating the cheese and strawberry. Please go eat here.
