After driving around looking for a spot to eat we stumbled upon this place. From the outside it doesnāt look like much, the only way we knew it was open was because of the lit sign. When we walked in there was no one there but the staff greeted us and were super attentive. We ordered the Crab rangoonās, yellow tail jalapeƱo, general tsoās chicken with rice and an Out of Control roll. My wife and I split everything so we could taste test each plate. They did NOT disappoint. Sushi was so good and fresh. We were very happy with our meal and it was around $60. I would recommend this place to everyone and we will be back.

For a small neighborhood restaurant...it is pretty consistent. Overall good experience. We have been going there for the last 2 years. Service is good. Great place for casual dine-in or take out. They have a bar as well and plenty of parking. I saw another restaurant opening nearby with the same name...not sure if it is the same people. Suggestions- please do away with plastic take -away containers (old school white paper Chinese food containers work), partition or screen the dining room seating from restrooms.

I love Mindys and go quite often. I just picked up an online order for a spicy tuna poke bowl and they forgot my spicy mayo sauce which I double checked was on the order. Seems small but it is such a bummer when a pick up order is wrong :(

Mindys has some of the best sushi you can get in the east bay for almost half what other places charge. Absolutely our go to for Chinese and Japanese food.
Spent over $120 they messed up my take out order then called me when I was home to come get the rest 10 minutes later very inconvenient and the food was tasteless expensive and not good quality food or service go to china gourmet you are better off.

I ordered a salmon and rice dinner without vegetables or soup. And they proceeded to give me a really small piece of salmon with rice and they charged me $15. I called to complain and they said they would let the owners knnow It was way smaller than what I would normally pay for when we ordered a hibachi dinner. The hibachi dinner was $25 so I paid $10 less to have a really small piece of salmon and rice there.
