My man and I went there last Friday at a little after 5pm. They were not busy at all. We were seated promptly and your drinks order taken at that time. 20 minutes later we still didnt recieve our drinks. I ordered a margarita and my man a bottle of beer. I watched a drink sit at the service bar and I was sure it was mine and I watched it sit there for 20 minutes. I asked the waitress we had and she said it was the bartender because she was new. Another few minutes went by and a guy I assume was the manager picked up that drink that I had watched sitting there for over 20 minutes amd bring it to our table. Mind yo I without my mans bottle of beer. I told the guys that I had watched that drink sit for over 20 minutes. He daod he would get a new one but after waiting so long we just left after being there for 30 minutes. She never even took our food order within that time and the place had hardley any one in there. I will never go back.

0 Carbon Fee? The prices were already high and there was no notice of this fee until the check came. Seems like a gaf with no explanation of where the money is going. Service was good and the food was ok. Too bad they add junk fees to your bill.

Don't come here if you want service. Our male server who was maybe a host? was hardly anywhere yo be found. We were brought adult cups of water for my two toddlers. I asked for kids cups- while waiting my child spills the waters. Server comes back and we notify him of the obvious spill in which he hands us a bar towel to wipe the table ourselves. He returns with kids cups/ no lids. He takes our order without a pen and paper for 5 of us. I could tell he was not going to get it. He returned with pen/ paper to ask whole order again. Disappeared. Food came and we were missing items.. he never returned. We flagged him down finally to ask where the missing items were and he said " oh idk did the kitchen forget them" he offers to have it come out to go and then never had it made or gave to us to go. Never asked if we needed anything or how the meal was. Food was mediocre.On way out we grabbed 3 cupcakes for our children. They were 5.99 a piece and definitely had been sitting in the display case for days. Would not recommend. The frosting was rock hard. Unfortunately, we will not be back. 100.00 on appetizers and left still hungry.

I reallllllllly wanted to love this place, or at least like it. After several visits over the past year, I think we're done. I'm not going into details because I think that'd be too rude but our server tonight was SO sweet. I hope she goes somewhere where she can make some good money....not going to happen here- judging by the previous reviews and the food we've laid eyes on. Disappointing, bc we love supporting local. They need to trim their menu down and fine tune the basics. #Restaurant Impossible?

Oysters are good, burgers are good, all the food is goodEdit: visited here for the first time since moving away in 2022. Me and my friends enjoyed the $1 raw bar! The food was good. Oysters and clams and shrimp were good. No complaints. There was no "charity donation" charged to me and the raw bar was truly a dollar as advertised

Incredible Burger ! Cooked to perfection! Definitely going back it’s legit the best burger I’ve had in a long time .. maybe I went in at the right time , the bartender was chill … New to the area from San Diego will definitely be going back ..I got the Bacon Cheddar and asked for Grilled onion & truffle fry’s & vinegar . Give the cook a shoutout for cooking the meat to perfection with so much flavor instead of typical overcooked at restaurants.. Great staff & Great Food
I stopped going after I was charged a 4% carbon offset fee. That was 7months ago. Have not returned since. False advertisement of a buck a shuck (oysters) were actually $1.50 see my receipt.

I hate to do this but I feel like after having tried this many place multiple times, it’s needed. I’ve wanted to like this place, I really truly did but after my experience today it was the last straw. We walked in today and went to the bar to have a drink, the bartender was nice however, after waiting more than ten minutes for her to return to take our order, we finally got up and left. The place was completely empty and the wait staff was on their phones the entire time. The management is terrible and the food is terrible and overpriced. If I could give this place -1 stars I would. Save your money and try somewhere else in Portsmouth.
