Half the time the store location isn’t open, the other half of the time the cooks call out. Unprofessional, doesn’t answer any phone calls.Terrible food, always cold.Very unprofessional.

Says their open, accepts orders and always turns out to be closed. Then never answers the phone.

I've seen other reviews say the quality is inconsistent and I can definitely see that. The black eyed pea stew I loved so much last time tastes spoiled today! I know they were closed the past couple of days and seriously wonder if this was leftover from before. I'm pretty grossed out by the thought but will try to give them the benefit of the doubt. It really does taste spoiled to me. I tried to contact the restaurant to ask if it was made fresh and perhaps what I'm tasting is some off seasoning, but the number doesn't work. The moi moi tasted better today though...idk. I'll reorder again and hope this was just an off day.

The best of Nigerian ?? cuisine around! Full of flavor, spice and great size portions for the buck. Can't wait to taste everything on the menu ??

The food is exquisite and every bite is a bit culture.

Really loved the black eyed pea stew with jollof rice and plantains. Spicy means spicy here just an FYI. I thought it was all very tasty!

Abinchin Plateau brings something really unique to the Providence food scene. Ordered the vegetarian taushe and yam fufu, and went to pick up at 65 Bath St. This was my first time eating Nigerian food- or any type of west African food- and W O W. It was so flavorful and comforting! It’s the type of hearty soul food that you can’t stop picking at even after you’re full. The portion sizes are also pretty generous, so the food is super affordable when you figure you’ll probably get 2 meals out of it. I already know I’ll be a new regular customer, and you should be, too!

I love this setting of this place but can you do more with the taste I bought a lot of food because I was really excited about this place and the taste was just manageable the jollof rice but it had no taste and was mushy I was expecting like a party type taste and the stew it is as if you don't let it cook well it tastes like raw pepper the only thing that I have ordered that is okay is the okra the ayamase was just raw pepper with a lot of salt. Like please do better with the cooking.

I ordered from this place a couple of times. I ordered Jollof rice, which comes with plantains and your choice of protein. The first time the rice was addictively delicious, but the meats were so tough very hard to chew, I gave them a second try, the second time I was very disappointed the rice was mushy, and the chicken That came with the meal was rubbery and inedible. I've Also tried the egusi stew with fufu which was pretty good. Consistency and perhaps cooking the meat longer would make this place a gem.

I live up the street from the kitchen (it's a building full of kitchens for takeout/delivery) and I have to say the whole process was cool, and the food was great. You check in to pick the food up on an iPad and they hand it to you at a counter so it's basically contactless, which is great during COVID. I used to work in West Africa, and Abinchin's food is what I wish the local food was like. Not too oily at all, just the right amount of pepper in the "spicy" for an American, plus they threw in some little donut guys on top of my order (sort of like rice bread). This is my new stuck-at-home-during-COVID lunch spot!

Excellent food! Loved the Egusi stew and Fresh okra. Very covid-safe setup for takeout. Will certainly be ordering from here again soon!
