The place looks beautiful and clean and therefore I’ll give it 2/5 stars. This is not a place to visit if you desire any level of customer service or friendliness. From the time I walked into this establishment, there were workers available at the front but none of them seemed even remotely concerned with helping me or providing any kind of service to me… or at minimum greeting me. I am unsure if this is a consequence of poor organization or if it’s part of the culture that this establishment intentionally fosters.
I ask if someone can help me; at which point some of the workers just walk away without saying anything. A young lady finally tells me I’m looking for “Christine.” I am unsure of who Christine is as I have never been here before. The same young lady looks something up on the computer finds my food and tells me this is it and goes back to her important phone business.
About the food: If we had gotten the food we ordered it would probably have been good. We ordered a lot of food (9 items) from here and got about 4 of the items we ordered. We ordered through Grubhub and a representative called me about 1 or the 5 missing items ordered that had been marked removed from my order and therefore my money for that item was refunded to me. However, the other 4 items that were missing had not received the same treatment.
Unfortunately that was more than $100 of food missing from the order (hopefully this will be returned to me- will update if it is). UPDATE: My money was refunded! Thank you Grubhub. (If this was in any way influenced by the owner, thank you!)
I would have hoped if so many things were unavailable that someone from the kitchen would say something when I picked up the food, or would at least text one of the front of house workers so that they can convey the apologies of the house.
Of the food we tasted, the Red Snapper was flavorful and well made & the kalla puff puff was good.
