such a beautiful cozy restaurant! The food feels so special. Everything here feels intimate and attentive. The menu is the perfect size to not feel overwhelming and the BYOB option is a great way to interact with the community.

Will this restaurant make her smile? Read ahead to find out.
Two owners, one cozy room, and food that just hits. 🍽️✨
Kickoff: a cheese plate accompanied by house-made jams and their own crafted dark chocolate bar. Salty-sweet, a little savory, and oh so rich-this chocolate has kept her smiling since.
Then a local crudo: thin, fresh, bright olive oil, herbs, and a few slices of stone fruit for lift. Clean and balanced.
And the closer: braised Mediterranean chicken thighs—tender, herby, and hard to share.
The vibe is calm, the pacing is easy, and the owners guide you without fuss. Small menu, with BYOB, no filler. You leave relaxed and already planning the next visit.
Will she smile? Absolutely—this is grin-on-the-walk-home territory. 😊

Excellent food and service. Had a great experience. We made a reservation through Instagram; received a quick response. BYOB with a wine shop next door.

I had one of the best meals that I've had in a long time at Amaryllis! We loved that this BYOB restaurant is right next door to a wine shop and it's a truely farm to table. The menu changes daily and the ingredient were locally sourced and FRESH. I shared their decadent charcuterie plate with two friends. It was out of control -- I'm talking the most delicious blueberry focaccia bread, cheese selection, two types of jam - my favorite was the fig, black pepper salami, hummus, pita, and chunks of chocolate. It was so much food, we couldn't finish it. We needed to leave space for our entrees. We chose two pastas and one crudo dish. They were also excellent. Fantastic service all around.
Looking forward to going back. Amaryllis is one of the most popular restaurants in Providence for good reason. It's low key with high quality food. Spotted multiple A list actors dining at the table next to us.

The food isn’t good enough to make up for the lack of basic service. The waitress acted extremely inconvenienced by us, rolled her eyes multiple times, and slammed glassware down in front of us.

Amaryllis is a true gem! This small BYOB restaurant is a must-visit for anyone looking for a fantastic and intimate dining experience in Providence. The food was absolutely incredible, with each dish clearly made with passion. For our party, what really set Amaryllis apart was the service. The all female staff were warm, attentive, and knowledgeable, making us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. Providence needs more restaurants like this! We will definitely be back soon!

Food was good however will never return due to the incredible rudeness of the staff. They made degrading comments about our table in front of us. When we questioned the point of the $5 “cork fee” when we brought all the necessary equipment to serve and store our byob wine ourselves, the 2 waitresses were deeply bothered and called us cheap. They continued to talk about us under their breath which we heard and they made the whole dining experience quite uncomfortable. The waitress also slammed the wine glass on the table. They had extremely hostile and petty attitudes while we racked up a $200+ tab. The ambiance was also very sad and quiet, and their dingy plug-in fan circulated serval bugs and debris into our food and drinks. I suggest the 2 women running this restaurant learn proper customer service etiquette as their behavior is no way to treat patrons. I was excited to support a woman-owned business, but sadly these women are very undeserving and nothing more than miserable.

This has to be one of the best restaurants in RI. Been here 5 times now and each dinner has been fantastic. The food here feels nearly Michelin level quality with the care and preparation that its made. There is always a slightly changing menu that incorporates local ingredients and culinary inspiration from all over.
Service has always been welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend.

The food was excellent even though the menu was small. It was very delicious. They brought me the wrong flavor San Pellegrino and I think they may need to revise their cup washing protocols.
WOW!!! We had a great dinner. The food was absolutely delicious and was filled with unique flavor and texture combinations. Some of the best tasting food we've had. The atmosphere is super cozy, almost like you're eating in someone's house. There are seriously 12-16 seats in the whole place and the food is cooked right there in the same room. The ingredients were super fresh and menu was unique and the food was very yummy. My husband and I split the carrot and hummus spread plate and cheese platter and then the lamb sausage polenta. Then we had their lemon olive oil cake and strawberry rhubarb pancotta. We truly enjoyed our dinner experience. We went on a Saturday night at 5, right when they opened and were able to get in without a reservation. I would recommend making reservations though due to the very limited seating. And, definitely try their chocolate. Oh my, is it Amazing!
Everything was top notch. A true hidden gem 💎💎💎💎
One of the best restaurants in Providence!
