We enjoyed another terrific lunch at Angelo’s today. As always , we had delicious food and friendly & attentive service. The taste of the meatballs has not changed in the 60 years I have been going there. We also ordered the Pumpkin Ravioli with brown butter and sage, which is a new addition at Angelo’s. It is sensational. I always look forward to eating there. I have always experienced excellent service and great food,

worst service I've ever experienced, waitress was extremely rude and never checked on us, we were there for almost 4 hours and took us an hour to get waters, an hour to get a refill ans 2 hours to get our inedible poor excuse for "authentic italian" food. I will never return, I do not understand how they're still in business.

From the maître d' to the waitstaff, to those that prepare the awesome food, everything was top-notch and food was extremely flavorful. No wonder they've been in business for so long!

I think it's just OK, not very good, not bad. Ordered a kids pizza, didn't smell right or taste right

i am sorry to write this review as I have frequented this restaurant for many years and have always been happy with the food. Tonight however I must question what has happened. I ordered take out, as my husband and I have done a number of times during the pandemic. One of my favorites dishes is there eggplant parmigiana- baked not fried - it has always been a tasty dish. Tonight's dish however was unrecognizable. While the dish was baked it was not eggplant- at least not how I know it! aAt first I thought it might be chicken but it was not and it was a tasteless patti of something. Maybe it was frozen eggplant but nothing resembled the texture or taste of eggplant and it was inedible! My husbands veal was good so therefore the two stars but otherwise it was a horrid meal!

Excellent service and food. Servers were fantastic. Prices great. You really need to carry gluten free pasta.

Very disappointed. Veal parm was average with a little pasta. Waitress also had an attitude. Will not be back. Too many good restaurants on the hill.

Overpriced. And charged me 50 cents for a plastic little cup worth a tablespoon if sauce? No thanks. Two stars cause my waiter was perfect. Never again.

Ancient restaurant in Little Italy, Atwells Avenue, Providence. Not sure where it ranks with the other old restaurants, but our meal was excellent, and the service very good. Scungili salad, calamari, braciola, veal and peppers, spaghettini agility, even good old spaghetti and meatballs. Everything was excellent. Definitely worth a return trip.
