My friend suggested to try this place out, it was worth it. Drinks Food and service phenomenal ordered the area flight 319 flavor was spot on came with shrimp, steak, and chicken sauce was tasty and well cooked. Also for drinks we ordered the unlimited mimosas strawberry, peach, passion fruit all very tasty. We had the tray of 3 different martinis berrylicious, apple martini and the feeling peachy they were all very good. Our waitress was very attentive and extremely nice. Definitely recommend trying this place out.

I visited Area Lounge for brunch and had a great experience. I ordered the chicken and waffles along with the bottomless mimosas, and both were good. The smooth vibe made it a nice place to chill and catch some football games on their TVs. Would definitely recommend.

Went to the Area Lounge to celebrate my cousin birthday. The Lounge opens at 9:00, which I really like. The atmosphere is definitely 5 stars. Love the Lounge vibe. Music was good, the bathroom was clean, and they used real menus that lights up so you can see what you are ordering.

I had a chocolate martini, rice, and beans, I had one of my husband's garlic parmesan wings. The food was ok and not too pricy.

The only advice I would give is that they took a really long time to serve. We initially had a party of 8. The restaurant was not busy when we arrived. In fact, we were the only patrons. We waited 30 minutes for our drinks. The food came out at different times so no one in the party was able to eat together. By 10:30, there were about 13 of us, and the food for the guests that arrived at 9 was still coming out.

In addition they charge 5 dollars per bottle of water. I think that is a lot, especially when people are drinking and dancing. But I guess inflation.

Overall, if I am invited to another party there, I will definitely make the drive from MA to RI to attend.

Area Resturaunt and lounge is one of the best spots to catch a vibe with great food, hookah, and cocktails that don't break the bank! The staff members are all very helpful and friendly and the owners take great pride in welcoming people from all walks of life. The sunday $20 bottomless brunch is a must try!

BOOK WITH ROXYYY!!!! Her service was a 50/10 and she was so attentive, funny, and she brought up our vibe. Come to area and definitely ask for her for your ROXY as your serverrr!!!!

Area has an atmosphere where you can feel relaxed to go alone, after work for food & drink or enjoy a night out with friends. The music is not too loud but enough for you to enjoy and converse amongst others. One of the few lounges where you can receive good customer service, great drink and amazing food.

Parking: They are located in a lot with multiple places to park.

Wheelchair accessibility: I brought my sister who is in a wheel chair and she enjoyed that there was just one step towards the entrance. They accommodated us to a table where there was enough space inside & she was not in the way.

For the best churrasco and tostones in New England, check out Area Lounge fr! And they serve hookah with a bucket of ice to keep it cool and long-lasting. Worth every penny honestly, the food is delicious and reasonably priced, and the music perfectly captures Providence's culture and vibe. 10/10!!!!

I was in town visiting from Texas and tried their brunch. It was a great experience! The steak was phenomenal…like really really really good! The service was very good as well! Be patient because they are fairly new so sometimes newer servers can be slower as they learn, but the management was on top of things to make sure everything was moving. The food came out quickly and every item was prepared well, had great flavor and great portions. Do yourself a favor and try this place!! It was truly a phenomenal experience and I’ll definitely be dining there again when I visit the area again!

Ah, the Area Restaurant & Lounge, where ambiance meets the harsh reality of disappointment ?. I was here for a birthday party, expecting a night of revelry ?, but instead, I got a front-row seat to a masterclass in mediocrity. The venue is nestled in a rather *interesting* neighborhood, and by interesting, I mean a bit rough around the edges. One might expect the prices to reflect the surroundings, but no! This place charges as if it’s in the heart of downtown ?️. Spoiler alert: it’s not.

The outdoor seating looked promising in the dim lighting, but that’s where the charm ended. The service? Oh boy, where do I start? The servers seemed to have graduated from the School of Rudeness with honors ?. They were more interested in chatting amongst themselves than attending to us. And don't get me started on their mixology skills ?. Ordering a simple cocktail felt like asking them to perform alchemy. I’ve had better drinks mixed by a toddler with a soda fountain.

I had high hopes, but alas, the Area Restaurant & Lounge dashed them expertly. Will I be coming back? Only if I’m in need of a reminder of how not to spend a night out. If you value your time, money, and taste buds, steer clear of this place ?.

Te food was great!! but little cold ?, the mimosas were amazing!!! ? but the only down thing was the music was blasting so loud I was yelling at 10 am ? I wish they turned it down a little bit but good energy
