The bartenders need to have a personality. You can tell they just don’t want to be there. Miserable and not accommodating. Uses to be one of my favorite places. Food is still good though.

Atmosphere was wonderful our first time here. Service was great as well. They were able to fit us in even though we didn't make a reservation on a very busy Saturday night. The pasta dishes I would highly recommend. I do not eat meat but my husband who does did not like his crispy pork tenderloin. He said it had no flavor. Despite that I still say it's worth the visit. They have a lovely menu and much to choose from. I recommend you make a reservation before you go. 🌞🍷🌹They do have an outdoor patio where we ate on a beautiful evening even though the music at the restaurant was being drowned out by the horrible music being played across the park we had a lovely meal.

Great food and great service. Nice patio seating and good N/A options also.

Bacaro is a fantastic choice for a memorable Italian dining experience. The restaurant offers a unique split-concept, with a lively Italian wine bar and salumeria on the first floor and a more formal dining room upstairs, each providing a distinct atmosphere. They also have a nice patio outside in the warmer months. Whether you're looking for a casual evening with shared tapas and a great bottle of wine, or a full-service dinner, Bacaro delivers with a menu that blends traditional flavors with creative, modern touches. The menu has wood-grilled pizzas, rustic baked pastas, and expertly prepared charcuterie boards showcasing the chef's dedication to fresh, indigenous ingredients. Add on the beautiful waterfront location and an extensive wine list and Bacaro is a perfect spot for any occasion.

Great restaurant with great bartenders. Very friendly and treat all guests like family/friends. I came in out of curiosity and got the grilled swordfish. Good portion and and quality for the price. Nice place for a date night or if you want to treat yourself to a nice dinner in the city. Will come back. Thanks.

Food was delicious, and most importantly our server Jeffrey they such good care of me in regard to my serious shellfish and treenut allergies. I was so comfortable as I could see I was in good hands.

The flavors were subtle but had just the right notes.

Highly recommend.

We are new to town, and found this place and popped in. It was busy but the host was kind enough to get us a last minute cancelled table, and we had a lovely meal! Will definitely be back.

It has been a while since last time I got to enjoy this restaurant. I am glad to report thag the food, service, staff and atmosphere are still the best in Rhode Island! I finally got to introduce my fiancé to this wonderful establishment and see her eyes light up, tasting everything we ordered!

Had a terrific experience last Saturday. Even being a graduation night, the staffs ability to keep pace and keep the service on point is commendable. Very impressive. The only thing I would tweak is the lighting in the bar area. Go enjoy some tapas or a meal (like the crispy chicken). We had it all!!

Beautiful place to dine, with an amazing view of the Providence bridge. The spring pea pasta was phenomenal and Natasha, our server, was attentive and sweet. Must go to if you are in Providence

This restaurant had been on my culinary bucket list & finally had the opportunity to dine here & was definitely pleased with my dining experience. The food, service & atmosphere is top notch, warm & friendly. It definitely met my expectations. Started with a few tapas. Definitely enjoyed the eggplant parmigiana & the polenta with prosciutto. Three of us were there before attending a PPAC play. Ordered the pasta with spring peas & smoked pancetta, the tagletelli pasta with mushrooms & the crispy chicken. All dishes very flavorful & pleasing to the palette. Loved the poached egg on the pasta dishes which added a bit more creamy texture to the dishes. Dessert was also excellent. Service was also spot on & Janelle was an extremely helpful in helping with our meal selections & questions. Again, thank you for a lovely pre theater dinner.
