Backstage was conveniently located across the way from the Providence Performing Arts Center. The venue was nicely decorated in festive Holiday colors and decor. The menu was different than the one that was on line but it was still full of a variety of food. We ordered a lovely pasta dish. The service was excellent and we enjoyed our meal and experience. Dessert was perfect. Finally the prices were reasonable. I would definitely recommend this establishment.
Walk into bar with my husband for a cocktail before our show. Staff asked if we would be having dinner. When we said just a cocktail they said they couldn’t accommodate us. We could go down the street to another bar they recommended. Very sad. We won’t be giving it a second chance.

We made a reservation for a pre-theater dinner. Our sever Leanne was terrific understanding our time line and was super accommodating. She knew the menu and made some nice suggestions. We shared the crispy sprouts appetizer, which were delicious and large enough for a meal. We ordered the Cajun chicken risotto special and shrimp scampi as entrees. Again delicious and too huge to finish. Highly recommend both. Prices are very reasonable. Would recommend.
Just got chased out by ignorant staff wouldn't come back here if my life depends on it awefull terrible
This was the worst experience I've had at a restaurant in a long time! Took 30 minutes to get drinks. They brought vodka soda to my daughter (8 year old) instead of a Shirley temple. Forgot our shrimp cocktail (cold dish!) with other appetizer. My entree came 15 minutes after the others. The whole thing was just awful! People sat down behind us and never had their order taken so they just got up and left! Go somewhere else... I bet this place will close soon, it is that bad.
We made a reservation three days in advance. Received all of the confirmations. Arrived at the time of our reservation and was told the restaurant was closed for a private party.
Excellent food and service. All of us enjoyed our delicious entrees. The service was attentive and warm. The ambience was fun and elegant at the same time. Great experience.
New place, still finding its feet. Results are underwhelming, but it has potential. They were clearly understaffed and staff were undertrained, so it appeared the manager was subbing in to help serve. Before now I've never had a server ask if we'd like dessert (while we're looking at the dessert menu) without even pausing for an answer as they moved on to serve another table. As my companion was starting to order I had to tell her the guy wasn't behind her anymore. Kinda funny really. What wasn't funny was the table behind us that never had their entree order put in at all and didn't get more than apps to eat before their 8pm curtain. For a place marketing itself as a pre-theater spot, slow service is a big problem. Even chalking it up to startup training and staffing hiccups, they should be asking if you have a curtain time to make before ANYTHING else, and committing to get you out on time if it's feasible. We were lucky we left ourselves lots of time before our show. The chicken with sweet Vidalia onion was delicious though, and the whiskey was a generous pour. The donuts were tasty but seemed a bit stale. I would try this place again in a year or so if the reviews suggest improvements. Signed, A Guinea Pig
This was a pre theater dinner. When we arrived the host warned us that he was managing the bar and all the tables by himself. We ordered drinks and appetizer that came quickly, the waiter took our dinner order, but somehow our dinner order did not get put into the kitchen, I expect because our waiter was overwhelmed with triple duty (host, bartender, only waiter). By the time we found out our order was not even submitted, it was too late and we had to leave for the theater. The waiter was very apologetic and took some money off our bill, but it was very disappointing to go to the theater still hungry. This restaurant was recommended as a good choice for a pre theater meal and they should have been well staffed for a popular show on a Saturday night. I don't blame the waiter, but management needs to address this.

Pasta sauce from a can. Over cooked pasta. Dull flavors. No real parm or Romano to be seen.
Felt like the three of us had been “a nuisance”

Found this spot for breakfast and after eating here I was surprised by the high food reviews. Service was very good. Nice staff. I usually don’t do bad reviews but The food was terrible. Avocado toast tasted like something you could get at Dunkin’ Donuts (but worse). The potatoes seemed like they had been sitting out all day I couldn’t even eat them and The coffee wasn’t good either.

Only had breakfast early on Sunday morning, so I can't speak to the atmosphere at any other time. It was quiet and well lit. The menu was decent but a bit pricey. I got the Bagelwich with ham (pictured). The sandwich itself was quite simple so I was concerned about the $12 price tag. It was a huge sandwich with multiple thick pieces of ham in it. It came with 3 hashbrowns (like what McDonald's serves), they were fine. Also a small few pieces of fruit were included. Overall, the value of the sandwich was worth the price.I looked around the rest of their menu and nothing particularly unique or special jumped out at me. I didn't realize the sandwich would be made with hamsteak cause that wasn't listed on the menu (it was a pleasant surprise). My advice to management, if your food items have something unique about them, highlight that on the menu otherwise no one is going to know what makes your restaurant special.Servers were friendly. I'm perplexed at a situation that occurred though. My partner ordered a scrambled egg a la carte and it took significantly longer than my sandwich (which was made with scrambled eggs). They wait staff continually apologized for the delay and ultimately ended up taking it off the bill, but I don't understand how two orders for the same table using the exact same ingredient ended up coming out of the kitchen so far apart.
