For a 1/4 lb burger, it was decent. Rest of the ensemble would support a half pound though. Most restaurants tend to go with half pound.

The neighborhood pub vibe was as anticipated--in a good way--and we appreciated that they honored the request to seat us away from the door (a request born of a recent experience elsewhere where every time someone entered we got a blast of the winter wind). This was a pre-theater meal and as lovely as the service was when the server was at the table, it was clear that they were focused on turnover. We weren't there that long, but as we were finishing up, our check was delivered with no inquiry about whether we would like another drink or dessert.
I really appreciate the manager Will who was able to get us a table on a very busy night and took our order himself so that we could get to the theatre on time. He was courteous and accommodating. Excellent service and a great atmosphere. Thank you.

We had an "ok" experience. On a Saturday at prime time, the restaurant seemed under staffed. No hostess at the door. Meals came out staggered with not even an acknowledgement that they were so. Server not very knowledgable about the beer/wine offerings. Item appeared on our check that was out of stock. I ordered a burratta/arugula/tomato entree salad that had maybe one cup of arugula and a 1/4 of a sliced tomato. I got the impression they ran out of ingredients because it did NOT look like the same salad that the table next to me had (though it was supposed to be). Thank goodness I had asked for chicken to be added. Will not be rushing back.
Great experience from the time we walked in and were immediately seated (we had a reservation) to the responsiveness of our server to the quality of the food. My only gripe was the limited selection of beers on tap.

Went for dinner before a show in the neighborhood. It was about what I expected - solid pub food. The appetizers were actually better than the main. We had soft pretzels with cheese dip and the calamari, which was surprisingly good with good crunch and a fantastic sweet and spicy ponzu thing going on. Dinner options are super limited, so our table had basically all the variations on burgers, the chicken sandwich, and the portobello sandwich. All were fine but nothing memorable. Good service, decent atmosphere, I wouldn't turn it down, but there are so many great places in the neighborhood that it rates just okay by comparison.

The place has some character and a cool vibe. Food is pretty good. Bottomless mimosas for brunch is good deal.

It's tough to get seated at any restaurant when the PC Friars have home games but we were able to get a table on this night before a big game. Service was great and the chicken sandwich was so delicious! We will be back
Decided to go to Barnaby‘s before a show at the Providence performing arts center. Our server was very attentive and had great suggestions. Wish their wines and beers were printed so we could actually see what we would order. Thinking that their tap is not used often as we were eating in December and they still had a pumpkin/Seasonal beer. Food was really great.
