The neighborhood pub vibe was as anticipated--in a good way--and we appreciated that they honored the request to seat us away from the door (a request born of a recent experience elsewhere where every time someone entered we got a blast of the winter wind). This was a pre-theater meal and as lovely as the service was when the server was at the table, it was clear that they were focused on turnover. I really appreciate the manager Will who was able to get us a table on a very busy night and took our order himself so that we could get to the theatre on time. He was courteous and accommodating. Excellent service and a great atmosphere. Thank you.
We had an "ok" experience. On a Saturday at prime time, the restaurant seemed under staffed. No hostess at the door. Meals came out staggered with not even an acknowledgement that they were so. Server not very knowledgable about the beer/wine offerings. Item appeared on our check that was out of stock. I ordered a burratta/arugula/tomato entree salad that had maybe one cup of arugula and a 1/4 of a sliced tomato. I got the impression they ran out of ingredients because...
