My wife and son had dinner at Blakes. My chili soup was outstanding and my wife's beef stew was also outstanding. We all had steaks. Not high quality, but good for the money. We also had drinks, which were priced fairly. We enjoyed the atmosphere. It is very much a local pub with lots of locals. Our bill for 3 came to a total of $132.39 without the tip.

Great local eatery! Nice casual place for a bite before or after a show or an event in the city. It gets crowded, but the food and service are consistent and exactly what you want from a pub. The staff are delightful and knowledgeable about the neighborhood and what’s going on in the city for the weekend. In particular, Kim, Sarab, Juan, Katie, and Erin are utterly delightful and great to talk to. Excellent place to hang out and enjoy some burgers and drinks. We will definitely be back!

Listen; I am NOT usually one to leave a bad review - but damn, that was BAD.
We waited over 30 minutes at our table (which the bar tender yelled at us when we walked in to seat ourselves) before anyone even came to ask for our drink orders. Our waitress was extremely frazzled, not writing things down (which I understand some waitresses don't, but she was very very clearly struggling with the orders) and repeating the wrong order back several times. 20 minutes after placing our drink orders, literally 2 sodas and 2 waters, we finally get the drinks. 50 minutes in.
Another hour after that, we finally start getting food: and literally every. single. meal. Is either incorrect or just straight up awful and inedible. I’m sorry, but it was NOT good at all.
The kicker is our waitress was fighting with the bartender and other wait staff the entire time too. When we left, she was yelling at the bartender infront of everyone and slamming glasses around. The entire restaurant stopped what they were doing to look, and everyone seemed beyond uncomfortable.
Easily the worst restaurant experience we’ve ever had, would avoid honestly.

The interior of the restaurant is quite small, so you are better off arriving before supper or dinner time. The waitress was bitter, as if she didn't want to serve us. Otherwise nothing else negative to say. The dishes were delicious and well cooked.
Parking: Its in downtown Providence, so there is no parking available, so you have to walk.

This place is wonderful. The menu has a great selection to choose from. The prices are very affordable. Not like other restaurants where they give you a tiny portion on your plate and gouge you with extremely high prices. So my question to all other restaurants and cafes is if Blake's Tavern can serve up really great meals that are priced very reasonably why can't you do the same. Also here at Blake's Tavern the staff are pleasant and helpful.

Bad drinks and so so food. Overpriced microwave food. Also, the service was horrible. My wife and I sat here for 30 minutes before anyone came over. Wasn’t even that busy and now I understand why. If it wasn’t for the p bruins being so close this place would have been under by now. I’d be mad too if my business sucked this bad.
