Not often you would give 5 stars for a messed up order. No sauce on the Alfredo and near the end of the shift but the replacement was awesome. fresh remake new noodles sauce and chicken in very few minutes, great respect for the chef and wait staff who were amazed we were happy. Caprice salad excellent too!

Went in to use the bathroom while I was getting in a long walk around the city, at 4pm on a Wednesday. They said they “didn’t have public restrooms”?? It’s literally a bar/restaurant.. not a small shop. They had maybe 5 people at the bar.. total.. everybody witnessed the interaction. Horrible way to treat people. This isn’t NYC, where places are constantly mired by people trying to use the restroom. Just lost a potential future customer!

We visited during St Patrick's Day weekend, and it was hopping. They were busy but definitely on their toes. The food was phenomenal, the best corned beef sandwich I have ever had! The fries were average but the service was quick friendly and exceptional. We had a large party that was split between two tables yet we each got the same fantastic service. Our server was very personable and we throughly enjoyed ourselves.

I recently started working in Providence and was excited that Blake's was a block from where I work. The first time I ordered the meatloaf since the woman at the bar raved about it. This was the worst meal I have ever eaten. Tasted like cheap ground beef, was tough, and all gristle. No flavor in the meatloaf. Gravy had absolutely no flavor, and the mash was the best part. I gave them a second try and ordered the California Club wrap. Essentially, this was a lettuce and tomato wrap. There was a half piece of bacon and not even 3 ounces of chicken. The wraps that came out of the kitchen for the patron dining in looked nothing like the to-go orders. I am all set with Blakes and will be seeking other alternatives in the city. Dunkin wraps taste better than what I had received.

Been there several times and each time the food was excellent.
Went to the bar, moderately busy but there were some open seats at the bar. My partner and I sat down, was in the visual field of the bartender, waited for over 15 minutes. Was not even given a look. Saw the bartender chitchatting with someone on the other side, which is fine—but look around the whole bar first to make sure everyone is taken care of. Ultimately left and went across the street.

Honestly a waste of money ! It was so mushy I would have asked for a refund but I was already home. Unacceptable !

Worst steak I've ever had, either frozen or a low grade cut of meat. Borderline impossible to chew because it was so tough. This was my second time there and last. First time they made my burger wrong. Wrong temp, wrong toppings, and extremely long time to get my check.
Edit: Owner is lying, they serve steak sandwiches. LOL
