Just a heads up that this restaurant appears to be closed. Doors were closed today when I arrived and another car was pulling out of the lot, who confirmed there was no one inside. The reviews looked amazing, but I think maybe the restaurant moved?

This is not the blaze I know from Hope st or even when they moved by the Met. I will not be returning. Yikes hair in the food, chicken (**** chicken so it should be cooked a certain way) RED inside. Rice blah, plantains soggy?! Definitely wasn't a hit. They need to bring back someone who knows how to cook Looking on their social media it looks like something happened with ownership and the chef. I'd go to wherever that chef moves to and NOT this location

This is a gem! Food is excellent, atmosphere is laid back and the server was awesome! Will definitely be coming back soon. So many choices but for appetizers the crabcakes are amazing as well as the lobster mac and cheese. Teriyaki Salmon and Shrimp scampi for the main course was excellent...?

My wife and I went to brunch at Blaze Smith Hill on 11/28/21. We absolutely loved our experience. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was intimate, and the food was fabulous. My wife ordered the Blue crab eggs benedict and I built my own omelet. The food was served promptly and there was plenty of it, particularly the Blue crab benedict. It was so good. We plan to come back for dinner and brunch in the future. It is a great addition to the restaurant scene in Elmhurst/Smith Hill and a needed addition to our community. Go support it. You will not be disappointed.

We waited almost 40 mins for our breakfast and the place was basically empty. when we asked if our food was close to being ready we received a firm no as a response. we were told that the food takes 25-30 mins to cook and our waitress said it was detailed on the menu when it clearly wasn’t. we all ordered toast with our breakfast and it came out with an obscene amount of garlic on it. i ordered poached eggs and they were cold by the time that the toast situation was figured out. apparently the waitress and the single chef in the back started their first day today but i was very unimpressed with the professionalism. I will never be returning. btw. if i could leave zero stars i would

This restaurant is a treasure. The staff are extremely kind and friendly, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the food is heavenly! We had a delightful birthday dinner there complete with the whole staff singing Happy Birthday to our daughter. We cannot recommend this place enough!

I was taken here for my birthday meal. I can't wait to go back. It was a nice day, so we chose the outdoor tables. The service was extraordinary, the food was delicious. The breakfast menu is available all day, and I have "chicken & waffles" on my brain for my next visit. My suggestion- Go.

We were visiting from out of town and made a quick stop when we saw "coffee bar" on the side of the building. Without realizing it was an actual restaurant we went in. The staff was super kind, friendly and understanding. She made us to go coffee and the chef supplied my son with a cookie, which he confirmed as awesome. I wish that we had the time to stop back for a meal, but we have Blaze bookmarked when we next visit RI.

Hands down the best brunch in providence (I’ve tried it all!). Unbelievably friendly and funny staff with amazing food. My boyfriend (who eats way too many burgers) has proclaimed the Brooklyn burger a definite top 5. Amazing people!!!

The crab cakes could've been made from solidified pieces of shredded fish products turned into viable food.

This place is a gem, absolute gem I went for brunch today with my family and I'm blown away with how delicious the food was. I'm really looking forward to going back with friends to try their lunch/dinner. My fiancé had the Biscuits N gravy and I had the Caribbean coconut French toast. My fiancé never had sweet plantains and absolutely loved my dish. Great portions. This restaurant will not disappoint!

Delicious food, friendly staff, beautiful setting.Made reservations for 13 for brunch and everybody left raving about this place. Despite the large group, we never felt rushed. I had the Caribbean Coconut French Toast with plantains, two others had the omelets, which were huge. Everything was so damn good. This place is a win/win!The hubbie and I will be back for dinner.

I celebrated my baby shower at Blaze Smith Hill, and it was absolutely incredible! From the initial interaction with their wonderful event planner, to the day-of set up and delicious food, their team was so kind and helpful every step of the way. The atmosphere is beautiful and comfortable - inside and out. They were super accommodating when it came to selecting menu items and able to provide options for those with dietary restrictions. All of the food items we selected were SO good! Our guests are still raving about the food weeks later. This is hands down the one of the best brunch spots in Rhode Island. I’d recommend this venue for any baby or bridal showers, small gatherings, or even just a morning brunch with a friend!
