I feel badly writing a bad review but it was so expensive and the experience was so bad. Coffee, bagel with avocado and a side of fries came to 20 dollars (I gave 15% tip when I ordered my food) . I ordered the food to eat inside but they brought it to me in plastic to-go containers and the waitress said it was "good because I could take it home for leftovers"... but honestly it felt like she just didn't care about my experience at all. The french fries were cold and tasted ..mealy... the bagel was cold, the guacamole was very cold-- you could taste that it came from a cold refrigerator. There was just so much cold guacamole and arugula that it just felt careless. The coffee had a very strange taste. When the waitress came up to me to ask how it was, I began to politely respond "well it's okay... it's cold" but she just smiled and said "ah that's great, enjoy"... so she clearly didn't even listen to my answer. I really couldn't tell if this was passive aggressive ignoring me or whether she was simply unaware and distracted .... But I just felt like she really didn't care at all. I really wasn't expecting 5 star dining and normally I wouldn't say anything about a simple meal like this -- but I actually felt badly while eating here.

Collen is an AWESOME barista and the cook gets everything on point as well!!! They know me as soon as they see me, greet me with such a positive attitude every morning!!! I usually get a ham and cheese on a croissant, but today i tried something different. A Thanksgiving Sandwich.... It was BOMB!!! If you are downtown and looking for a spot to sit and have a coffee or bite to eat, BREWED AWAKENINGS IS THE PLACE TO BE!!! THANK YOU FOR YOUR HOSPITALITY EVERY TIME I COME IN!!!

I love it here! Friends and I try coffee all around Providence and this one is one of the best. Super friendly staff, clean cafe and covid-friendly. Coffee is brewed right and sandwiches are delicious. I keep coming back and bring new friends everytime.

I loved Brewed Awakenings, and finally had the chance to visit their downtown Providence location on Wednesday. Very cool vibes - as are those of each distinct Brewed location that perfectly fits its surroundings. Excellent customer service and coffee as always. And if you’re a first time Brewed customer: I recommend Eye Opener (we pick up whole bean bags while there & brew at home), the South Jess wrap, & the blueberry crumb cake.

Was excited to see this place open in place of the over priced & small portion Nicks. The staff here is very friendly & helpful. The coffee selection is awesome!! Just one small pet peeve - when I order an egg sandwich or any sandwich & ask for tomato - I get fresh slices of tomato just as expected not salsa. I also expect the same when I ask for avocado - instead they use a guacamole spread. Huh? I get that a spread is easier to preserve but I'd rather pay a dollar or two more & get slices. (a la cafe la France). They also have a loyalty program - spend 100$ & get 5$ credit. That's a 5% loyalty discount. By comparison , cafe la France gives you a coffee punch card & a lunch punch card - every 6 purchases on either, your next is free (that's a 10-15% discount value and their breakfast sandwiches are stacked high - you are Full). Nico Bella's one block down on Westminster - one free lunch after 5 - that's closer to a 20% loyalty discount - wow. [Also you can sit inside or out with your well behaved! dog at Nico Bella's. - One of the few restaurants in Providence that understands that 'service dog only' policies are archaic, not actually enforced , & less necessary than laws protecting the public from vagrants soliciting. Have not tried the cocktails at Brewed Awakenings yet but the photos sure look good - but they close rather early- will update once I try one of those luscious martinis in the pics on their window & see if it lives up to my imagination.

Love this new location! Right in the heart of downtown PVD! Karen was SUPERRRR helpful with her menu knowledge, the barista aims to please with his high quality craft espresso beverages, and the chef in the back makes sure I leave full! Great team at that store! Customer service is at a PREMIUM!I heard they will be offering even "more than a cup of joe!" DEFINITELY my NEW go-to spot for business lunches and my daily caffeine fix! Don't forget, their rewards program works at ALL of the locations! I recommend to ALL as a HOT SPOT for when working or just visiting Providence!Apparently they also offer catering for business meetings and larger events.P.S: They have a different quote on their boards which let you enter and leave with a smile!
