Great kosher style deli
Bagels for breakfast sandwiches for lunch
Continuing my search for a good bagel in Providence and I wanted to love this place. Two everything bagels with lox spread for $15. The bagels were so average- classic grocery store bread in a bagel shape and the lox spread on both bagels looked like it had less than a tablespoon of lox. Total bust.
Amazing pastrami sandwich! Melts in your mouth. Try the halvah too. It's delicious.
One of the best pastrami sandwiches I’ve ever had. The staff is very friendly and they have a real nice variety of Kosher items.
If you're looking for an amazing pastrami sandwich that practically melts in your mouth, this is the place.
Visited Bubbie's for the first time today and ordered a triple decker, ate one half and saved the other, it was delicious!
Owner, whom took my order was short and seemingly impatient…$95 later, the sandwiches were fridge cold, thin slices of pastrami and brisket with NO sauce what so ever…clearly not the chunks of brisket dripping with sauce, pictured on the web site…
Smallest pickle on earth, two tablespoon sized sides and certainly not the heaping servings of meat, per sandwich in the pictures…!!!
False advertising !!! At least take down those pictures, what Bubbies actually serves is NOT the same…
Bubbie's Market and Deli is a wonderful addition to the East Side. Speciality items such as various prepared herring are readily available. The last time I ate herring of such quality was in Hamburg.
This market boasts a small deli. But do not let that stop you from taking a walk back to the back to see what delights await you.
I ordered a double pastrami with mustard on seeded rye bread. The bread was fresh, and the mustard was good, but the star of the show was the pastrami sliced very thin, so every bite melted in your mouth. The pastrami just had enough fat to enhance its flavor and not be noticeable at the same time. The seasoning was delightful and paired very well with their pickle.
There were two side options potato salad or coleslaw. I am not a fan of either. I went with the slaw.
It was a creamy coleslaw, and it was ok.
Over for a first visit, it went very well.
