Bubbie's Market and Deli is a wonderful addition to the East Side. Speciality items such as various prepared herring are readily available. The last time I ate herring of such quality was in Hamburg.

I ordered a double pastrami with mustard on seeded rye bread. The bread was fresh, and the mustard was good, but the star of the show was the pastrami sliced very thin, so every bite melted in your mouth.
