On 8/21/2025 we arrived in Providence from out of state and searched online for lunch options - Camille’s popped up first! We arrived to a warm and inviting traditional Italian decor. I ordered the pasta e fagioli - a personal favorite - a meal in itself - the best I’ve ever had! My husband ordered the pasta bolognese - also remarkable and the best he’s ever had. Both dishes were exceptionally true to their Italian origin. Our server, Jonathan T, provided unbelievable service. Genuine, cordial, helpful all topped off with the perfect amount of attention. We highly recommend Camille’s and can’t wait to return!

This was an excellent restaurant. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but when you enter it's a very welcoming, old school Italian restaurant. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. We had an excellent waiter, who was friendly and knowledgeable. All our meals were enjoyable, and we would definitely go back.

Overall overpriced (with portions that were too big). That said, had fresh ingredients, good dishes (if trying a little too hard) and great service.
Food is nicely prepared and presented and very was quite worth the price point. Atmosphere...delightful, intimate and perfectly quiet! Service was attentive but not intrusive. Definitely going back.

I came into town and was recommend to have dinner at Camille's. After dinner and dessert, it will be difficult to go out again at other restaurants. It was so good I had to close my eyes multiple times and just enjoy it.

We booked this based on the very high review. It's very dated, but that adds to the ambience. The appetizers were very good (fried calamari & squash flowers). The squash flowers cost $22 for 3, so expensive. I ordered the gamberi diavolo, shrimp probably frozen and not cleaned, sauce very basic and pasta watery, $39, quite overpriced! The service is good.
