I ordered a $52 order from them. Not only was my order confirmed 40 minutes later after I placed it, the meal was incomplete when the delivery arrived. I proceeded to call the restaurant to receive a refund from them, but instead I got called a liar pretty much by the woman on the phone stating "two people were seen packaging the food into the bag", I gave the driver a $7.60 tip on top of the $3 delivery fee on grub hub. All I wanted was my food after I worked on my feet all day long. But no, Instead I got called a liar, and said all she could do was give me credit for next time. As if I was trying to score a free crab Rangoon order. I should have saved my $7.60 tip and ordered 2 crab Rangoon instead.

I’ve been here several times and have never had a bad experience. I would recommend the orange chicken! Parking can be difficult, but that’s federal hill for you. Great customer service too!!!

Heard that Frank Reagan and Lt. Gormley were in town to consult on the scooter gangs with the Providence Police. So, I figured I would surprise them for dinner and had a hunch Sid would drag Frank over to Chef Ho's on the Hill. I cruised by in the 83' GMC conversion van and saw Sid drinking a Scorpion Bowl for one and jawing at Frank. I parked in the loading zone and went in to the Chef. "Look at these two honkies sitting here like teenage girls," I said to Frank and Sid. "Well, if it isn't Clubber Lang!" Said Sid. "Sid, my man! Frank, you Starship Trooper, still dropping acid?" "You don't make sense Mr. T," said Frank. "Maybe not but at least I knew where you guys were!" Frank then says, "Sid and me wanted some Providence Chinese like Mott Street and Sid says this is the closest." "Well you two gumshoes guessed right. Order the General Tso's" "I did," said Sid, "Frank says it'll burn my mouth and I think I can take it." "Well, I pity da fool who thinks he can eat Ho's ghost pepper General's without scorching their dang mouth. Dumbass fool."

extreme lack of customer service. ive worked in the service industry for 11 years so i understand the days are long and people can be cruel.. the woman i spoke with was by far the rudest lady i have ever spoken with for SO many reasons and for that reason will NEVER order from here ever again. absolutely disrespectful?
I have been ordering here 20+ but today will be my last order. I ordered 2 lunch combos that come with fried rice and egg rolls. One combo did not have an egg roll so I called to let them know and the man on the phone stared arguing with me that it didn’t come with an egg roll. But you can clearly see on the menu that it does. So you sit there and argue with a paying customer instead of just owning up to the mistake . I’m all set never again. I only gave one star because you have to give something if I could I would put a 0.

I tried Chef Ho's because I wanted delivery and I was very disappointed. I ordered garlic spicy green beans and they were not garlicy or seasoned well. They were spicy but seemed like they had been boiled, not sauteed. Crab rangoon had a weird taste and no crab. Peking sticky wings were just okay. Would not recommend or order from them again. Han Palace in Warwick is a much better choice.

Been eating at this place for over 15 years. It used to be a 4.5-Star establishment, imo. Their prices USED TO BE reasonable but over the last 3 years, the prices have steadily increased yet the quality of their food has decreased exponentially! They used to make most of their dishes by hand- nowadays though, they buy in bulk so every meal tastes EXACTLY like 500 other places. They've lost the pride they used to put into each meal and customer service interactions. Not to mention they lost 2 of their BEST delivery drivers who got fed up with being mistreated financially. No medical benefits and hardly any raises unless the Law requires it... One of whom had been working there for MUCH longer than I'd been a customer! Sad.
