I've gotten food here before and it's always 50/50. I recently ordered food and was once again, disappointed. Rice was undercooked, and broccoli was spicy but lacked any other flavors. Scallion pancakes were overcooked and dipping sauce tasted weird. Overall, bland and unappealing. Won't be ordering from them again.

Absolutely loved this place. If food is fresh and hot even when it's delivered, the people are very nice.

Very good. Spare ribs aren't great, but everything else was. Highly recommend.

Do the cockaroaches still climb up onto the dinner tables, waiting for their cut?? I thought this place got shut down years ago.

Food quality, not just this restaurant, but a lot of restaurants, has been lacking. Very little vegetable in the dishes. They used to be good, not anymore. Will not be ordering from them anymore ?.

Large portions. Rice tasted burnt. General Tao’s chicken was mushy and bland. Avoid.

I ordered two appetizer combination and on the online menu it doesn't tell you that it comes with rice so when I called I ordered two of those appetizer combinations and rice on the side it doesn't state that those combinations come with rice so I ordered rice on the side when I got home there was rice in the combinations so I called in the owner said oh it doesn't stay online that they come with rice and I said well that's not right because I just spent $7 more on rice that I don't need and she said oh I'm sorry you have to get a hold of the third party company with the menu I said no you pay for that menu to be put up there and you should be telling them to put the rice with the combination I got combination with the boneless spare ribs crab rangoon the crab rangoon is disgusting the chicken in the chicken fingers is disgusting and the boneless spare ribs are dry and hard this was supposed to be one of the better streets in Providence for food I wouldn't eat here again

Their combination appetizer option is great. Good amount of food for reasonable price. It’s plain Americanized Chinese food.Very casual small dine in section because this is mostly a take out restaurant. It is a good value spot for large

Best chinese food I've had in RI so far. Very frustrating it's closed weird days (Wednesday, and sometimes Monday) but the food is absolutely delicious. Maybe a little more expensive than others, but it's on federal hill and you'd expect that.

Food is nasty plus I got food poisoning from there. NEVER AGAIN eating from this place.!!

My dining experience at Chef Ho's on Federal Hill was a standard Chinese restaurant affair, earning it a three-star rating. While the food was good, offering familiar flavors, the overall experience didn't deviate much from the typical expectations of a Chinese restaurant. It's a reliable option for those seeking traditional dishes, but it might not stand out for those looking for a unique or exceptional dining experience.
