Chelo's Hometown Bar & Grille

At the Providence location, They don't tell you if you order online, you don't get Best Guest Reward points !!!!! It's Outrageous !!!! If you call in your order, they always get it wrong. Other places do not do this. Don't be fooled. They only are out for themselves. Boycott Chelo's !!!!!!

I’ve always loved Chelo’s but I can’t help but have a bad taste in my mouth after being told I couldn’t take any leftovers from my half price apps home. This restaurant would rather throw away perfectly good food- that the customer paid for- than let them take it to go and have a nice snack later on. So much for smaller businesses caring about their customers. That just feels so corporately American to me. Come on Chelo’s, do better 🙃 (Also, in the past I’ve been able to take half price apps home, so is this a new policy or do only certain servers abide by the rules?)

Always good service, friendly staff, and good value during 1/2 apps time.

Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp as well as side door from parking lots makes for easy wheelchair assessibility.

My wife and I come to the Chelos location quite often. We live fairly close by. This was our first time sitting at the bar and to be quite honest I don’t think my wife will return to this particular location anymore. When acknowledged by the bartender neither a welcome nor an introduction was given. After taking our order we asked if we could watch a baseball game that was about to come on. The bartender not only sarcastically stated that they would get to it when they had time but was unaware if the establishment even had the Chanel. Number one I’m not sure how long it takes to refill sodas at the bar and number two it’s your job to know what products and services are offered at the establishment you work at. When are meals came never once was there a check in and my wife sat there with her water glass empty for the latter of the experience. To the point where I shared my water with my wife. Moments we
Were asked if we needed boxes but yet never asked if we wanted another drink or dessert. Overall very disappointing and felt ignored and disrespected to be quite honest.

Waiting for an event to start so we sat at the bar and had a beverage and shared 1/2 dozen clam cakes. The food was hot and flavorful. The bartender was cordial and attentive. The restaurant was clean. We would stop in again.

Food was just ok, service was lacking

After reading the reviews decided to get takeout from here. My husband and I decided to try a few items and all of them lacked flavor. Very disappointing.

We met friends there and had a great time with good food and drink. It is a friendly atmosphere with a large bar and grill set up. Lots of room. The staff was all pleasant and attentive. Their food was delicious, and the menu had a lot of choices for everyone. Our waiter was great. We didn't have to wait long for our food and drinks. We didn't feel rushed either when we sat a little after our meals were done so we could finish catching up with our friends.
It's definitely a great Hometown feel.

Memorable Bday lunch. Excellent cheeseburger. Saved half for later. Baby was anxious. Manager saw baby playing w salt shaker n came to table to tell me she didnt want him to break Glass salt shaker. So i packed up.
They don't have chip reader. I was short $3 for lunch and birthday cake. I couldn't figure out how to find entire debut card #. She told me to take my Cake off order. I said, No I really want my bday cake. I tried opening Google wallet. Manager was upset again w baby for going in n out of tables. She was right but he has kinetics disorder I tried explaining and it was taking way too long for her to delete cake off order. Ended up leaving my lunch Cake and charged for everything because she. Didn't know how to delete cake.

Wish I took my cheeseburger home.

1st & Last time at Chelos.

Hostess/Manager should have a little more empathy for kids w Special Needs. Chelos should update their technologies. Kids at yard sales have Card Readers
