chomp is always a go to place that i take my non rhode islander friends. the menu is just so different then anything ive seen before with it just being burgers and chicken sandwiches. (and the occasional fish sando) but ive never had a bad experience here. the food is always a 10/10. i failed to get a pic because my boyfriend devoured it too fast but the january special “cheddar broccoli soup chicken sandwich” was honestly the most delicious thing ive ever had. never had anything like it. so different and unique. my favorite soup on a chicken sandwich should definitely be permanently on the menu:) but the burgers and crab rangoon mozzarella sticks are also phenomenal!

Food is good especially the fries. Sauces leave a little to be desired but overall food is fresh and good. The vibe is very cool in there and service is awesome. Definitely give it a try.

We stopped in for lunch on Saturday afternoon and had a great experience! We were seated immediately by the friendly host at a nice spacious table despite not making a reservation ahead of time. Our server Michelle was lovely and walked us through the menu, giving recommendations and answering any questions we had. She was very attentive and stopped by the table a few times throughout the meal, making sure we had everything we needed. The food was excellent and portions were generous. Easily one of the best burgers in RI, we will definitely be back again soon!

Not for the faint of heart, their burgers are really yummy but I definitely felt the grease afterwards (worth it). Their saucy fries had *plenty* of sauce!! Usually I'm one to be disappointed because not all the fries have toppings but there was almost too much sauce even for me, absolutely delicious sauce though so I'm absolutely not complaining!

We actually didn't get to eat here because we had just sat down when we were alerted by the owner of the active shooter situation at Brown University. They allowed us to shelter in place in their Airbnb above the restaurant and helped us calmly vacate the restaurant. In such terrible circumstances, the staff was kind and clearly shaken up. I hope I get the chance to go back to Chomp to try their food & bev because it all looked delicious!

While our family did not dine at Chomp last night, their staff went above and beyond. Our family headed to Providence last night for our reservation at Chomp, unaware of the active shooter at Brown. When we arrived and were made aware of the situation, the staff immediately sheltered us safely upstairs from the restaurant and kept the entire building on lockdown. They put the safety of their patrons above their business. Throughout the terrifying ordeal, the staff checked in on us consistently. Kudos to their entire team.
Also - while we didn't get to eat at Chomp last night, our food in the past has always been 5 stars!

Excellent food options, but it's hard to not go with the burgers. The cod appetizers were really good as well. Great selection of drafts beers on tap that are constantly changing. Table service was suburb here. Fast and extremely friendly.
The burger was cooked to absolute perfection. Excellent service from the waitress and bartenders. Reilly and Kelsey, were extremely nice, and welcoming. Both the Honey Mustard BBQ and regular Honey Mustard sauce easily 10/10 and would recommend with any meal. If you are ever in the Providence area you definitely need to try this place!

Place used to be killer when it first opened. Always loved the idea of gourmet burgers with creative ingredients. Seems like the sandwiches get greasier and less flavorful every time I order them. Lately they have been bland, soggy piles of mush that look/sound 10 times tastier than they are. Brussels sprouts are a go to for me, but they are frequently on the verge of being burned and have to be picked apart to be made edible. Place is worth giving a shot if you've never been, but they seem to be on the decline quality wise. End rant.

Giving x3 stars. Ive eaten here twice. First time was great which brought us back. Second time I just ordered two apps and a couple drinks (Brussels and bone in wings) an hour before close. They took a bit to come out which is weird for apps and when they did I took a bite of the Brussels and pulled a long blonde hair out of my mouth……we called over the waitress and showed her and she wordlessly took away both plates. She had them remake the food but didn’t come back until she was delivering the remake. During that time the lights were turned up bright to signal get the heck out were closing. 2nd set of Brussels were gross, but she at least those those off the bill which is why I’m giving three stars. Won’t be going back tho, take the story for what it’s worth.

First time visiting this place & let me tell you, I love it. The variety of their menu and how great the food looks coming out is amazing. Definitely coming back. Had the calamari, a salad & the Brisket Burger. Food was so good I didn't even take a pic, jumped right into it.
