We decided to visit CHOP last night before going to PPAC for Hadestown and it was a great decision! The entire staff was attentive but not intrusive and the food and drinks were amazing. My short rib entree came with a delicious spaetzle that I heartily devoured. The dessert was a sea salt chocolate chip brownie served in a skillet with coffee ice cream! They do include a service charge which is both explained on the menu and by our server and it goes to the culinary program there...
CHOP is a wonderful dining experience and would recommend everyone in Providence give it a try! My husband and I did the date night Thursday special. $60 for a bottle of Chenin Blanc, brussel sprout app, 2 entrees, and incredible dessert. Service was beyond excellent.

Our waitress Emily was attentive, kind, and checked in on us quite often. Other staff helped her as well, and everyone was super friendly. The space itself is warm with nice holiday place settings, spacious tables, and a cozy atmosphere.
