This was my first time visiting and I was really impressed. My bowl was delicious. The employees were helpful in selecting the items for the bowl and answering any questions I had. They offer bowls, wraps, salads, and tacos. They also have samosas, chips with hummus, and a variety of gourmet drinks. There is some seating inside and 15 minute parking is offered.

If you're in a pinch, make sure to try out this no-nonsense Indian fusion spot on Fed Hill. It's fresh and flavorful with spices and marinades that linger long after you've finished your last bite. It's a straightforward interior where you walk down a line of options a la chipotle. I had the tikka masala bowl with both the curry and saffron rice (I wasn't sure which was which by the time I ate it, but I think I'm partial to the curry rice). Loaded it up with everything they had to offer and went with a combo of the red pepper sauce (don't be afraid its not that spicy) and the garlic sauce. They definitely do not skimp on the chicken, which really carries that flame grilled flavor and was my favorite part of the bowl. I wish I took a picture because of all the colors in this bowl, but I was too excited to eat it. Washed it down with a house-made mango lassi which I highly recommend. I stopped in right before close on a rainy night and was warmly welcomed by Vishal and AJ who walked me through every ingredient and taste profile of every option and even gave me a walkthrough of each drink. I appreciated that they layered on each ingredient with care for even bites and a good mix of flavors. Great people, great food, great service. A worthy option for anyone looking for a clean and flavorful bowl!

Vibrant, strong flavors and fresh food. Cilanter is exactly like an Indian Chipotle, but the food tastes even cleaner.I ordered a chicken masala bowl ($11) and got saffron rice, fajita peppers, purple cabbage salad, onions, cilantro and fried chilies. The sauces definitely elevated the bowl. Mine were Kashmiri chili and Cilanter coolada. After mixing everything together, I dug in and was very satisfied by the amount and flavors.I also ordered 8 mini samosas for $3.50. They were crispy and fun to dip into the tamrind chutney, but I’d much rather prefer regular large samosas. They pack more food, taste and crispiness.Awesome spot, very good value and a friendly staff.Dietary restrictions: Tasty vegan options

i love south asian food and i am so happy there's a new spot in federal hill for it. i ordered the chicken tikka bowl and the mini samosas. the place is sooo clean and i love their decor like their little high top seating has marble counters. they were playing covers of my favorite bollywood music and it created a whole mood. the food tastes so fresh and so seasoned but because they build your bowl with you, you can alter spice and taste levels. the servers are SO kind. they loved taking questions and sharing more information about their kitchen set-up and how they make everything from scratch. you can see them cooking while you order and eat. it's so gluten friendly too. this is a great place to bring friends with different dietary tastes or needs. i put both kinds of rice and salads on my bowl, and picked the cilanter coolada sauce which tastes like mint parsley chutney. the mini samosas were the perfect crunchy accompaniment and sooo flavorful in their little bites. the tamarind chili is like a sweet and spicy sauce to dip into. i can't wait to come back and also to cater them for my college student events.

The food was fabulous and the service first-rate. The mixes of spices and marinated chicken made for not only a delicious dish but a gloriously colorful one at that. Bravo!

Just what I needed at the end of a long day! They had a several rices to choose from, including Saffron Rice and turmeric rice. There were a bunch of toppings that worked really well together, including a cabbage and carrot mix, corn, cilantro, onions and some add ins for extra. For $10.95 for a bowl, I thought it was a decent portion (the same size as your average Chipotle bowl) and the flavors were spot on. You can choose your sauce at the end depending on the flavor profile you're going for (sweet and smoky, refreshing minty, etc) and I had enough to split into two different portions. Would also recommend the mini samosas to try!

If you're in the mood for some fresh, tasty Indian food but are short on time - Cilanter is the way to go! Convenient, fast-casual place with friendly staff with yummy bowls. Had the pleasure of trying their chicken tikka bowl, which included well-seasoned succulent chicken over a bed of fragrant rice and other fresh fixings. Check it out!

I wish I took a picture of my meal but I was too excited to eat it. Needless to say, the food was delicious. The establishment is a "chipotle-style" Indian fusion restaurant. The flavors are bold and fresh with lots of toppings and options to choose from. The workers are very knowledgeable and can help guide you if you aren't sure what to order. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to try something new

I had a bowl with turmeric rice, chicken and chickpeas, cucumber mix and mango corn mix with the yogurt dressing, washed down with mango lassi. It was delicious!

My family and I has met one of the owners, Kirti, I hope I got the name right, and enjoyed our visit. He has a warm, passionate approach to him and described everything on the menu so well. It's worth going for the fresh clean food that you can taste.I will make this place one of my go to spots for sure. Besides the delicious food, I think the Chass Lassi drinks are interesting and I am looking forward to trying the flavors I hadn't tried yet. So far the Rose and Salty flavors are good. The Rose has a sweet rose aromatic taste, yummy. The Salty has a bit of a saltish sour creamy yogurt cumin taste, it's an acquired taste but not bad. I look forward to trying the Mango one next time, it looks delicious.Vegetarian options: The black lentils are delicious and nutritious.

What a treat and finally an Indian place on the West Side. Chipotle chicken tacos will have your mouth dancing around so many flavors. I devoured the street style chickpeas and was left wanting more. Explore and try something new. Get here fast. You won't be disappointed.

Favorite “fast” food spot in Providence. Order anything on the menu in any combination — you won’t be disappointed, and since Cilanter uses such fresh and healthy ingredients, you’ll feel great afterward. The price point is excellent too.The service is great, and the folks who work there are extremely kind. Delicious, nourishing food, and wonderful house-made and house-bottled beverages too. This place is not to be missed, and if you’re local, it will likely become a favorite in your take out rotation.
