Circe Restaurant & Bar - Providence

We had a wonderful experience. Jordan our server was very attentive and friendly. Our food was fantastic and the prices were very reasonable.

Circe never disappoints! One of the most consistently good restaurants in Providence. While many decent restaurants have come and gone, Circe keeps going strong with great food, deinks, service, and atmosphere. one of my faves!

Great food, awesome experience. VERY loud on the second floor balcony next to the huge speakers.

Came here for a date with my boyfriend. Lamb chops and waygu tacos were excellent me the lychee martinis were amazing. Alex and don were amazing ! Thank you

I love this spot. Staff are friendly but they sometimes seem understaffed - folks are flying around trying to get things right during lunch and dinner. Tips are a big deal, but more staff may make for bigger tips. Food is always terrific. Try the burger, shrimp cocktail, meatloaf and do take the time to go late afternoon and try the bar menu. Its the spot for before a PPAC show.

Came before a concert at the Vets. Server asked if we were going to show and kept our meals on time. He was very familiar with the GF menu and substitutions. Food was great!

Met with some college classmates from RI and Boston for a reunion lunch. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves and agreed it was a great venue. Food was excellent, portions were significant, creative items on the menu, and to top it off our server was outstanding.

I've got to tell ya. I've been here twice, first time as a big date with the wife. We left underimpressed with the food & service.

Second I wanted to see how the bar service would go. Cocktail was served under 3 mins. Loved that.

Raw bar service I didn't receive any communication after 5 even 10 mins.

I complained and they cashed me out in front of my face& dumped my order in front of me shortly after.

Mind you extremely slow service coming in.

Wanted to love this spot considering the reviews.

My husband and I had another incredible experience celebrating our anniversary at Circe! Our server, Antonio, was awesome! He was extremely friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious and our steaks were cooked to perfection. We highly recommend!!!

I had a disappointing experience on my first visit to Circe Steakhouse. There were 4 diners and no one’s steak was cooked correctly. Three a la carte steaks were overcooked; ordered 2 medium rare and 1 medium, served 2 medium and 1 well; one medium rare had to be sent back twice before it was cooked correctly. Short ribs were dry and side of asparagus came at end of meal. Hostess was ineffective in explaining the fact that the chef at a steakhouse cannot cook a steak correctlly!
We decided to give it another chance with two different friends. Big mistake! All four a la carte steaks were either overcooked or undercooked. Our server was very good, apologized and sent the manager to our table. Her response was so flat and her only thought was that she needs to get the chef a thermometer! If a steakhouse (especially one that is somewhat expensive) employs a chef that needs a thermometer to correctly cook a steak, they are in trouble. I’ve heard from others that they have had negative food experiences at Circe in Cranston or have had friends who did. It too bad because the space and location are great and I live right up the hill from Chapel View!

A last minute decision to grab a bite to eat, turned into a spectacular meal in a wonderful
atmosphere, serviced by our waiter Jordan.
First class and saw that everything was perfect!!! Will be back soon.
