We had no idea It was restaurant week and were pleasantly surprised on the menu. Our server, Jordan, was great!
Food was delicious from drinks, apps to dessert. Ordered off restaurant week menu- short rib and the filet. Service was on point and lively atmosphere. Guy at Valet was hustling and doing his best despite snow piles making things difficult. Overall great experience and would go back
Great food and atmosphere. Ate in the dinning room then sat at the bar for the second half. Waiter Eddie was great
The service is always excellent. Been to the restaurant several times have always enjoyed the food. The service.
We started with the calamari and it was very good. We both had specials and they were delicious!
One of Providence's BEST restaurants. Gorgeous venue, impeccable service, delicious food and drinks. Our go-to, when entertaining friends or PPAC play night. Thank you!!!!
Appetizers were great (Brushetta + Octopus), Entrees were delicious but not mind blowing. Service was excellent - our service was attentive and friendly and ensured we got to our show on time. Dessert was delicious (Bread Pudding + Creme Brulee). Ambiance feels somewhat clubby - white, rhinestones etc. There are large TVs at the bar with tables on an above balcony so everything is somewhat loud (we were OK speaking at the table). There are periodic pauses for blasting music for birthday celebrations (a lot of ABBA) which was unexpected. I think this would work for friends or work colleagues, or early date. Too loud for a romantic evening. Was fun pre-show (walking distance from PPAC). Free valet.
This is our second time dining here. The first visit was five ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Unfortunately today's experience wasn't up to par. We started with the deviled eggs which was very tasty with the beet slaw and then the calamari which was cooked to perfection. Unfortunately, the wagu burger was over cooked and the mushroom bolognese was so heavy on the truffle oil that it overpowered the lovely mushroom sauce. I did enjoy the fresh pasta. My son had the duck due and enjoyed it. Our server was very attentive. I'd still go back.
Circe is, without question, the best restaurant in all of Providence and arguably all of Rhode Island. From the moment you walk in, everything feels intentional, polished, and elevated. The atmosphere is beautiful, the service is consistently attentive and professional, and the food is absolutely exquisite.
Every dish is thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. You can tell there is real care behind both the menu and the execution. Whether it is a casual dinner or a special occasion, Circe never misses. The staff strikes the perfect balance of being warm, knowledgeable, and efficient, which makes the entire experience seamless and enjoyable.
I love this restaurant so much that anytime friends or family come to visit Providence, Circe is my first recommendation. It is the kind of place that leaves a lasting impression and makes you proud to show it off as one of the city’s best. Reliable, elegant, and exceptional every single time.

We went here last night before a show at the PPAC. The outside was quiet and reserved, but man once you opened the door the atmosphere became alive. The decor is amazing and eye catching first and foremost. the staff immediately greated us and confirmed our reservation and sat us. Our waiter came right over and took care of our drinks and apps, explained specials, then took our orders. He asked us if we were going to the show, and made sure that we would not be late on the restaurants behalf. This attentiveness to detail was not only recognized by all of our group but gave us a great respect for him as an individual and the establishment to have their staff personalize each experience to this level. Food was great both visually and by taste. Would definitely recommend to friends and return again if we are in the area. Thank you!

Thank you to the Circe Providence staff for an amazing celebration of my daughter’s birthday on Saturday night. She fell in love with the “disco ball table” when she spotted it eating lunch at Circe this past summer and “had to have it” for her “Dancing Queen”-themed dinner celebration. The food, drinks and dessert pleased all in our party - ages 4 to 89! We had a large party and we were perfectly accommodated - service was prompt, friendly and attentive as was the host who originally helped me book my rather complicated seating request (exceptional experience). My guests loved their meals, my kids ate lamb lollipops for the first time, and everyone left full, happy and talking about the awesome Odyssey package. You made my girl’s vision come to life - thank you so much!

All four of us agreed that this was a "one and done" experience -- we tried it once, but we will not be going back. The food quality was very uneven. The octopus was the worst octopus dish I ever tasted. It was not just tough, but the red sauce was so heavy that it did not complement the octopus at all. It is a really bad recipe. The mussels were good. The lamb lollipops were uninteresting and meh. The crispy egg rolls were ok, not great. the short rib was pretty good. the two fellow diners who had the steak thought it was uninspiring. The service, however, was quite good.
Carlene was beyond awesome as a waitress! We had a great night and she was so attentive, accommodating and friendly!

It's a nice restaurant with a night club atmosphere at the bar. They had the music turned up to 11. If you want to talk to the people at your table, I'd recommend avoiding Circe.
