Great coffee shop in the center of providence. Lots of people inside but still a very calm chill vibe. Baristas we’re attentive and informative! We got the iced mocha latte & a black cold brew. Both delicious and met our high standards as we are both baristas as well. Will return !

Parking: We parked behind the building in a big parking lot & had no problems. Free of charge. There is also street parking.

Nothing beats coffee at a historical area. Especially when the main building is as old as the town itself, or so it seems. Taking that thought into account, Coffee Exchange delivers on that experience and in the quality of coffee and baked goods. But with something complex such as a historic building blueprint, you can encounter a few inconveniences. The business model gives fast, pick-up and go vibes, but provides a handful of tables for those who plan on staying for coffee and chat, study or rest. But with a limit in time they can do so, which seems that customers ignore the time limit because there seems to be no enforcement of it. Not sure if it's typically as busy as it was the time we visited but the line to get coffee can go out the door. Creating somewhat claustrophobic vibes and also there didn't seem to be restrooms.

I find this place has the best lattes in Providence.
Great pastries, and a ridiculously good selection of coffee beans for your home use

We were up from Texas visiting visiting Providence for a few days, and the wife recommended we try this highly rated coffee spot. Our day one lattes were delicious. In fact, they were so good that we came back the next two days despite the service being blah and the atmosphere being meh... It was almost like they knew we weren't from around there.

A PVD institution. I’ve loved coming here for near 15 years. I always visit when in town and I always grab freshly roasted beans.

The line moves fast and vibes are great. Very PVD , diverse, conversations abound and very few laptops.

Try a dirty iced chai for a special treat.
