Costantino's Venda Bar & Ristorante

We love dining at Constantino's. The food is always delicious. And we love having Jess as our server. She always goes above and beyond.

When making a reservation here note that the “Standard Seating” is outside in a poorly heated tent. They take away the “indoor seating” option if it's already fully booked, but very easy to miss - and will catch you off guard if you're assuming that standard means the typical dining room. Music was on and off.... Plastic chairs outside and painted cement tables - inside looks lovely though, wish we sat in there.

Food was great! I did not know we would be sitting in a tent in patio chairs in a very loud environment when I made the reservation. I thought I was going to be sitting indoors at a restaurant. We had a 630 reservation and we were seated at 7 so the half hour wait was also annoying. Everyone's dinner came except one arrived probably a good 10 to 15 minutes later; they did apologize and gave us free dessert. Since the food was good, I would be willing to give them another chance however, I would want to make sure I was sitting indoors in the restaurant.

Upon arrival we were told that our table was already sat... though all 6 of us were standing together. They should really confirm who is being seated actually has a reservation. We had to wait more than 30 minutes to be seated, which is disappointing, given we booked more than 6 weeks in advance.

We had a reservation but ended up sitting outside waiting in the freezing cold because the restaurant seemed to have overbooked and had no space for anyone to wait indoors. We were eventually placed in an outdoor tent that was barely heated, and we were cold the entire meal. The food was good, but the overall experience was really uncomfortable.

Had reservation, but no linens or table settings. Bread served without olive oil. Service was rushed. Plates taken from table before all were finished. Valet parking was the best part of the meal.

Pizza and drinks tasted great. Really enjoyed the pistachio martini. Seating was cramped with a wobbly table, everyone who worked there that I interacted seemed miserable need to learn the fake customer service personality

We had a reservation. When we arrived at the restaurant, there was a line outside for reservations, and Staff was not engaging or polite. We waited for a bit and then decided to dine elsewhere.

The restaurant was in a very good, lively location. The appetizer and salad were delicious and showed up in a timely fashion. However, the pizza was 20 minutes later and served cold. We sent the pizza back to be reheated and it still was not hot. Thus, we asked them to box it up and we left.

Placed in heated tent but didn't feel heated. It was very crowded and loud. Food took forever and was just ok. I have eaten here many times over the years but this time was the complete opposite from my previous experiences. I'd choose a different restaurant on the hill next time!

Had a reservation. Had to wait in line 45 minutes to get into my reservation. No setups were given. Had to ask for them. Food took forever Ate way to late due to poorly run front desk outside. Never offered to go in for a drink or into heated tent vs Inside building or outside.

Wonderful experience from the valet service to the food. We will definitely be there again.

Great restaurant and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to dine on Federal Hill
