Dave & Buster's Providence

The food isnt why one would go to Dave and busters, You go for the...... I'm not sure exactly.

They try to cater to both adults and kids, so they end up appealing to no one.

If your an adult, freeplay is the better bar arcade with tons of food options within a 2 min walk.

If your going for the kiddos, there's a lot of fun to be had in places without drunk childless adults, and with a better value than a $30 per hour per child spend

Please note, the service here was great, and the manager took the time to greet us and ask about our experience. It's not their fault that short term suits are mismanaging the brand.

This may have been the 1st I have visited a Dave & Busters with all of the games functioning in good condition and fully operational.

We had a blast and our server went above & beyond to make sure our visit was on par with a very particular standard.

We had our 8 year old son’s birthday party at Dave and Busters. The service from beginning to end was impeccable. Juli, the event coordinator was very responsive and provided more than enough information needed to decide if we wanted to go with Dave and busters or not. The price was extremely affordable for a private room for 25 guests and delicious food. Our host, Krista, was super sweet, bubbly and friendly. You could tell she enjoys working there. Jaime met us when we arrived and brought us to our room and explained how the kids D&B cards worked and how we could add on unlimited play for “blue” games for only $5 more (per card). What a deal! We had the room for 2 hours, but they didn’t have another party until later in the evening and told us we didn’t have to rush out of there. At the end of the party, Jaime came to us with the bill and explained the total already included gratuity and made sure we didn’t double tip. With my crazy mom brain, I STILL, ended up double tipping. We were getting into our car and Jaime called me right away and informed me that I double tipped and that he would only charge us for the total we were charged, not the total I wrote on the receipt. I was very impressed with his honesty. They could have easily said, well she was told gratuity was included so maybe she meant to double tip. But he didn’t and I am very grateful he is a trustworthy person. Overall I highly recommend Dave and Buster’s in Providence for your children’s birthday party.

I have had a private party here before for teens and it went well. However, the last two times I went to eat here the food was absolutely horrible. The nachos they served as an appetizer was embarrassingly gross. My kids got the mac and cheese and it was basically cheese soup. My chicken sandwich totally fell apart and the taste was dull.

The waiter was completely overworked and had too many tables to attend to. In the end, the credit card machine came to the table and the waiter stared me in the eyes as I was deciding how much to tip on the credit card. I won't be going here again.

Met up with 2 former co-workers for eats. We wandered to the game room and 3 guys who don't play video games had hours of fun

My boyfriend and I came for my sisters birthday, (06-28-2025) and had a wonderful experience. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful time! Specifically Angel by the gift shop at the register, and Eric at the bar. They were both very attentive and helpful! Give the both of them a raise!! It was a make or break experience, and they made it. Thank you!

You guys need a better staff for the Bar that are more friendly and not cheap with the alcohol and charge people full price i think that’s out of line there. what is the point of having a bar if people are putting less alcohol and making it more sweeter i would like it better if they didn’t do that to us instead of remake it the drinks right way and the manger needs to show them how to do it the right way then telling us thats how the drink is when i had the same drinks twice they were made to the top Last time i came TWICE IN ONE WEEK !!! we didn’t like the way they made it. I would of had a great time BUT I was dealing with drama with ONE OF YOUR staff because thats WHAT GOING to cost you guys to loose business if you guys care about your customers opinions or advice before we end up not having any entertainment for our kids if your employees can’t follow simple direction or how to make drinks or the lady that I had to deal with was rude!!!!! Like i said before on my love one birthday like we should be able to be get our refund on our drinks or more money for my love one for her birthday like that is very embarrassing to take someone out on there birthday and have to deal with that type of remarks period!!!!! I am very disappointed on my decision for coming and spending money here to get bad service!!!!! People need to have more respect for themselves and for there job like need to be fired for that trying to rob people for drinks at the bar !!!! We paid for 6 of them please be careful on buying drinks from here !!!!

My daughter and I ate boneless wings on 6/24/25. We both were puking all night. Definitely food poisoning. Don't eat the food!

Came here today for my son's birthday, the one thing he wanted to do today, and took the day off of work to bring him. We get here and the ENTIRE arcade is closed from noon to 7PM for a private event. That shouldn't even be allowed. I can see renting a room or two, but the entire arcade? You guys suck...
