My wife & I stopped by Den Den on a recent visit to Thayer St. The food was great! We the kimchi pancake, Den Den Korean BBQ with pork belly, and the fried chicken. We enjoyed it all.
Atmosphere was casual and the restaurant was full of college student aged patrons — we were the oldest ones there by 10+ years. Loved that gratuity is includes included in menu pricing.
We will certainly visit again!

Delicious food, attentive and friendly staff. While visiting Providence we ate here two nights in a row. Try the cheesy chicken! (Though we also enjoyed fried chicken, kimchi pancake and shrimp 김밤)

All around excellent experience. The food was excellent and the service was also. Will definitely return.

This place is a regular spot for feeding my army of 4 kids, my wife and myself. The staff is always awesome and the food can't be beat. DDKFC should be a staple for anyone who likes Asian cuisine. If food was fire, this place would be the inferno!

Food was good. I had the yaki ramen noodles but in my mind, I thought I was getting the ramen with broth so I chose wrong. Flavor however was good but a little too spicy for ME( Im sensitive, ha!). I had the red sauce which seemed more like a paste. If it was more loose of a sauce, I think I'd have enjoyed it more. Overall, I would go back....for something else!

Really really good gimbap. Ate it all before I could take a picture.

I can't tell you how many times I've been to Den Den but it's been A LOT lol. The staff is always on point even on a busy night. The chicken is always 🔥🔥. One thing I love is that they're always consistent I've never had a bad meal the 10+ times I've been here. Khalid always greets us up front and the last thing that makes this place awesome is the PRICE IS THE PRICE. no dumb service charge no should I leave 20 percent or 30.

The fried chicken was delicious. However, this was maybe the worst service I have ever experienced in my life. My husband and I got there and nobody was at the entrance so we just grabbed two menus and walked in, while we decided what to order we could see and hear around 5 wait staff all in a corner laughing very loud, using their phones and I think making TikTok videos, which make you feel in a meddle school classroom instead that in a restaurant. Our food came out very fast and it was pretty good, especially the fried chicken. Our waiter never came to ask how we were doing and when we were almost done but still eating he brought the check and my husband had to pay with food still in his mouth. We thought maybe they are closing so we checked the hours of the restaurant and it didn’t close for another hour. The staff really need training or a supervisor.

The BEST restaurant on thayer st!! this place has the absolute best fried chicken i've ever tried!! I ordered half soy and half spicy, kimbap, rice cakes, and the chicken curry katsu and they were beyond delicious. the costumer service was also great and vibes were unbeatable!! 10/10 would definitely recommend!!

The food was great, as usual. However, when my party and I first walked in and asked for a table for two, two female servers looked at us, then at each other, before laughing and giggling. They eventually seated us but continued to glance at our table and giggle while hiding behind the counter in the back.

We ventured over to Brown’s campus while in Providence and got hungry for lunch. My partner saw this place from the corner, looked it up, and it looked insanely good so we decided to stop in.

Came at around 1:30 PM on a Friday and they weren’t too busy so we got a table instantly. Our waitress was friendly and attentive to our table. We got the Pork Gyoza and the Potato Twister as appetizers. Both were insanely good! The gyoza was flavorful and cooked perfectly and the potato twister was fantastic too!

We then got a small order of the Original Korean Fried Chicken as our meal. All around, I was blown away! It was fried perfectly, the seasoning was insane, and had great crunch! It was quite messy but they gave us some towelettes on the side. Nice touch!

Overall, this was easily my favorite spot we ate at in Providence. If you’re near Brown University’s campus, Den Den is the place to go! I’ll easily come back.

First and last time visiting this place unfortunately. The hostess made absolutely no effort or eye contact. It made my very uncomfortable and not sure why they even had one. The chicken wings we ok…the dumplings were excellent although I had to send them back for being cold. The 8 chicken wings cost $18 and 6 dumplings, $13, very overpriced. The tips was incorporated with the price which is weird in this country and gave the wait staff no reason to be kind.
