Normally I don't do reviews but this order cost me $21 for a very small amount and not very good. I ordered a side of rice and beans and it's street corn and I understand that now everything costs a lot especially for the restaurant business but I'm not satisfied and I'm not going to order take out again.

ordered delivery. my pork tacos came swimming in liquid which made the tortilla fall apart completely -not really a taco if it’s splattered all over the plate. my boyfriend got the fried chicken tacos which came completely dry with no sauce at all. dry fried chicken on a dry flour tortilla with like 3 pieces of slaw & corn.the pork tacos had good flavor but completely fell apart & the fried chicken tacos were horrible. only got 4$ back bc they forgot the sauce… amazing ?

Just traveling through Providence, looking for a place a quick bite to eat. I came across Diego’s and it did not disappoint. The Poke bowl was great and so was the service. It was not overly crowded (Sunday night). The only negative may be the music was a bit loud, but I didn’t mind it. It seemed to match the theme of the restaurant.

This site is to review the food so can't say anything bad about it -it was good and fresh. Unfortunately for us, the choice of music was not of our taste (something like heavy metal?) It was loud! Couldn't hear my partner over the music. The person that seated us seemed annoyed at our request for a table away from the very cold draft coming from the door. Didn't give us any options even though the restaurant was pretty empty at the time of our arrival. Is ok if they can't offer you a different table, it was the attitude.Prices: expensive (for us and for the extremely small portion of what we ordered -not expecting a huge portion but what we were served was too small) Worse part? Deceptive in the way they asked "would you like the side of rice and beans or the corn souffle?" To us, that sounds like it is part of the order. It wasn't. We were charged for the side order. Finally, once we got home we realized we were overcharged $9 (unless they charged us for the tap water)

Had dinner here with family (4 people) a couple of weeks ago. Saturday 630 reservation seated immediately - it wasn't crowded. Waiter was pleasant and helpful. Bar was SLOW. It took far too long to get drinks from the bar. Food was good! Enjoyable atmosphere. Until...at precisely 830 - so 2 hours past our reservation time - as we were finishing drinks, the hostess approached the table and told us we needed to vacate the table. She could help us relocate if we wished, although where was not disclosed, but she needed the table so we needed to leave. (We were not, for the naysayers, loud or disruptive. 1 senior woman and 3 family in mid-20s. Small family celebratory dinner. ). It was weird. It's not Covid anymore. I understand turning tables, but I was very turned off by this action. We left, and I can't say I have any interest in returning. Perhaps the 2 hour limit is posted somewhere, but not anywhere easily visible, nor were we advised when seated that a strict time limit would be enforced. Perhaps if the bar was not sloth-slow(we only had 2 drinks), we would not have stayed for the full 2 hours, but regardless, Diego's lost a customer due to their tactless protocol.

Great place. Food is amazing. Drinks were on point. Staff was on top of everything we had allergy concerns and they went above and beyond. The place was clean and well laid out no complaints definitely going back.

I tried the place during the restaurant week. The staff was friendly, but the service was slow and food had poor quality. Many dishes were too salty, and the rice was so dried that it was hard to chew. It seemed that both the hall and the kitchen were understaffed.

Would actually recommend this location over the original Diego's in Newport. They have a dog friendly patio and the decor inside is a nice mix of design and done in funky good taste. The menu is always delicious, you can't go wrong with any of the apps or the SANGRIA. If you sit at the bar you will be in full view of the kitchen, so if you want a more quiet experience you may want to sit around one of the upper rings of seating. A much needed add to the Wayland Square food scene.

Pretty good selection of beer. Delicious tacos and burritos. Not too big, which is good! But the most important thing is the service. Fast and welcoming. Highly recommended place.
