Wow!!!!
Great food and experience!
This is in regards to their Track 15 location. I ordered the Churro which cost over $10. I was expecting warm chewy churros. It turned out that they were mini churros which were dry and crunchy. In addition the chocolate and caramel sauces had little flavor. I was saddened by this. I was saddened by this because this restaurant owner used to serve up some of the best Mexican food when she owned El Rancho Grande. The west side still misses them.
I went here for my mom’s birthday yesterday and had a horrible experience. They could not seat my whole party 8 people so half my group sat at the bar. The salsa tasted canned, our food came out all at once but half the dishes were cold. We asked our servers before we ordered to do 3 checks and they did not do so. It’s was also very cold inside and they only had one bartender scheduled for dinner. This place had good reviews but I will not be coming back again

Someone I know hyped this place (he’s a regular) and I was excited to try it because I love Mexican food and have been to Mexico myself. I should have gotten the mole, that said, I thought the food was good but rather average. I was told the house margaritas were amazing, but again, I thought it was average. But the reason for the two stars is that I had possibly the weirdest and most uncomfortable interaction with their staff that I’ve ever had in my life. I’m actually considering calling the restaurant to talk about it. The problem was not our waiter but the hostess. We had reservations at 7:45 but I wanted to get a table earlier than that so I went around 6:30. The hostess said there were no tables available and so I asked her how long it would be before a table opened up. And she said we have no waitlist, which honestly I’ve never heard of. So I asked if there is no waitlist, should we go somewhere else and she indicated we should wait but with no waitlist, how would we get a table? She proceeded to demonstrate that the empty tables were for people with reservations which is totally normal. Any way we kept going around in circles until I explained I had a reservation at 7:45 and then she relaxed and seemed to get it. So we went across the street and had a drink. I’ve been to many upscale restaurants and even at their busiest times if you’re willing to wait an hour or more eventually a table will open up. I’m blown away that Dolores doesn’t take walk ins. Not sure I would ever go back.
Come for great food and stay for a masterclass in Mezcal.

This is a nice corner restaurant a short walk from Brown and from downtown Providence, where we were staying overnight. We arrived at 5 to a very empty restaurant, only one other table. We started with the guacamole, which was good, very oniony. We had a margarita and glasses of wine, all reasonably priced. The mole sauces were good; the tacos were small and good, but not the best we’ve had. The black beans on the side were good, the rice was a little dry. The enchiladas mole had a warm spice that was hotter as you kept eating it. The ribeye mole was an amazing chololaty delicious sauce.
The low service rating is a result of arriving at 5pm and not finishing our meal until 7pm. We waited a long time for our entrees.

The food and flavors were sensational. The carne asada was especially great. Highly recommend.

Friendly staff. Brought out appetizers and drinks quickly. Main dishes took long to arrive, but overall a very pleasant time.
We had the Chipotle Enchiladas and the Pescado a la Veracruzana. Both dishes were delicious.

Cozy and intimate setting. It was busy on the Saturday evening when we went. The food was tasty. I felt like the menu was limited to a few options as many of the options included mole, which I am not a big fan of.

I was really looking forward to trying this restaurant, but I didn’t really love the food or the atmosphere. The service and wait times were good. The space was quite loud, which made it hard to have an easy conversation with the person across from me. Overall, it was okay, but I don’t think I’d choose to go back.

Amazing Agave selection, food and service! This was our first visit to Delores and it certainly won’t be our last. Just incredible all the way around.
