This is a must stop spot! We came here after receiving a recommendation from a chef at another local restaurant and were truly blown away. The food and service were on point. We shared the Mole Pistachio, two lengua tacos, a carnitas, and Baja fish taco. All incredible, unique, and full of flavor that really packed a punch. The pistachio mole was perfectly nutty, creamy, with just the perfect touch of heat. If you love a good lengua or fish taco, these are an absolute must try...
The Poblano Mole at Delores could be the best Mole in America. I thought nothing could top Guelaguteza in Los Angeles but Delores is Poblano Mole did it. Sublime, perfection 10/10… still dreaming about it. Worth a trip from Boston just to dine here. Bravo. The restaurant runs a little loud but food, sangria, and service are all exceptional.
Dolores – A Promising Journey Through Mexican Tradition with Room to Refine the Experience
I recently visited Dolores in Providence, drawn by its growing reputation and Chef Maria Meza’s well-deserved recognition as a James Beard finalist. The setting is intimate and vibrant, with tasteful nods to the cultural richness of Oaxaca and Puebla. There’s a clear passion in the concept—rooted in heritage, technique, and a deep respect for Mexican culinary tradition.
