We read an article about the top 5 places in RI for chicken wings and this place popped up . We tried the brisket, cornbread and buffalo wings and all were very good .

Dirk’s BBQ is the real deal — tender brisket, fall-off-the-bone ribs, and sides that taste homemade. No gimmicks, just straight-up great BBQ that keeps you coming back.

Terrible. Dry, stringy ribs. A salt lick of a salad. Disappointing.
The staff, however, were very attentive and the atmosphere is really nice. Perhaps they just had an off night of food bc other reviewers had better experiences

So uh, yeah, this place is AMAZING!!! Didn’t imagine finding such perfect brisket in New England, but I did, and I am so glad for it. Also the sides, the mac and cheese and potato salad will transport you to culinary heaven. So if you’re scoping out places to eat, I 100/10 recommend this place.

Great BBQ, the way it's supposed to be! None of that syrupy nonsense you get elsewhere. Must Try 🤤

Went here there other day. Food sucked. Brisket dry as hell. Cornbread sucked. Tasted fake. Chicken terrible. Dry. Just about everything was dry.

The ribs were really amazing, 10/10 i would order just those next time. The brisket is also good. Dont get the sausage its not very good and the pulled pork is very skippable. The mac and cheese and biscuit also werent good to me. I like their bbq sauce.
Its also kind of expensive but all bbq is. Bjg variety of liquors/whiskeys. We paid 40-50 per male, and 20-30 for girls
Pork bbq sandwich was tasty IF you like mustard. Mac n Cheese was okay.

We hosted a party and had Durk’s cater. The food was delicious. Everyone raved about the brisket specifically!! We had 2 guests that needed gluten free and they worked closely with us to assure we got plenty of options. They forgot to bring the chafing dishes and went out of their way to drive 20 minutes up the road to get new ones for us. Talk about above and beyond! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for catered barbecue.

The ribs was a meal by itself but the mac cheese was dry the kale was to salty and you got to park around the corner

I admit I was a little skeptical of this place initially as I didn't think Providence has a barbecue scene. But this place challenged my assumptions!
The right way to enjoy this place is to go for havles: ½ pound brisket, ½ pound pork and ½ rack of ribs. You'll thank me later. The brisket is undeniably tender, the pork juicy and the ribs flavorful. I'm hesitant but I dare say, this is the most exciting barbecue in New England right now.

Durk's is a standard BBQ restaurant. It won't blow your socks off but there is nothing wrong with it.
