I used to go to this place until I went yesterday. I ask the girl behind the counter when kind of vegetables was in the rice, she put the spoon in to pick up some rice, pick up the corn with her fingers, put the spoon back in the rice, I thought she would throw the piece of corn away but she dropped it back in the rice. I told her that was unsanitary and I walked out.

Do not waste your time or money here! I would give this place 0 stars if I could. Where to begin....from the disgusting quality of food to the poor customer service. My boyfriend and I went to grab some mofongo after we both got out of work late. At first the woman behind the counter said they couldn't make it. After a few grunts from the man at the end of the counter (the owner I presume) she told us it could be done. We got some batata while we waited which was hard and cold. Our mofongo came out and we had one bite. All we tasted was salt and garlic. I am all for seasoning and flavorful food but this was Like someone was trying to kill Dracula from 10 feet away. After one bite we knew we could not go on eating whatever that was. My boyfriend went up to complain about the food. The owner looked at him and said “I don't care, there is suppose to be garlic in Mofongo.†Now I cook with a lot of garlic but this was hard to even chew without having our stomachs hurt. Realizing we weren't going to get anywhere with this stubborn man, we paid the bill and left. Leaving all of the food on the table...practically untouched. Took ourselves down to Johnnys Chimi and we are now enjoying some delicious beef chimi!

I went in today and let me tell you the food was burnt on top of that the server was yelling at a lady because she complained seriously when running a restaurant learn to be respectful of your customers and if your having a bad day do not lash out at your customers just simply fix the issue!
I thought it was okay Because their food is either really bland or really salty. The other missing star is because the server, Gisselle, had a terrible attitude and o think the the people that serve the food should care a little more about their job.

Food was great, however had bad experiences with customer service. The server (blonde hair, green eyes, chin hair) was very rude, was basically throwing the cutlery for us at the counter.
