Nice decor and good sound absorbtion, at least by contemporary standards. Food was nice, subtle, variations on traditional Greek dishes, Service was cheerful, attentive and professional. Not cheap, but very reasonable for the quality of the experience.
My friend and I went here for the first time last night and we loved our time. The restaurant itself is beautiful with an elegant and homey ambiance. Our waitress was so kind and well-informed! I believe her name was Oceanna. The food and drinks lived up to the experience we were already having! We can't wait to go back!
First time dining at ESTIATORIO FILI and found it to be an excellent dining experience -food and staff made it a great night. All our dishes were authentic Greek. Appreciated also almost all the wines were of Greek origin. We didn't try the cocktails but they sounded and looked great. We will be going back.
The server at the bar was very nice. The food tasted very good, but a little pricey, for such a simple dish. I had the chicken souvlaki and was surprised that it didn't come with pita. We ordered a side of pita and it was delicious. The roast peppers were very good, but there were not enough of them. The space is Ok, nothing special. I found the menu to be limited in variety.
food was lovely, enjoyed the spanakopita and shrimp and mocktail quite a bit, the bar was very comfortable to sit at and the atmosphere and design of the restaurant was very nice, our server was fine and the pacing of the food was pretty good.
Excellent service and delicious food. We enjoy the evening. Thank you! See you next Saturday.
The food was just okay; it was certainly not worth the prices! The atmosphere was cold; there was no color at all, and it should be warm.
Although the food was fine, the portions were SO tiny for what you were getting. The say it's a “tapas” place, but for $22 for one skewer of chicken, it seemed a little outlandish! 140$ for dinner with no alcohol for 2 people seemed like a crazy amount of money to me.
We Repeatedly enjoyed the food, the hospitality, the atmosphere, and will go back in the future again.
Food was great. Definitely get the spanakopita!

BRING BACK THE HORTA!
Or some other green, at least. A staple for the cuisine — all that phyllo+cheese needs some dandelions/bitters!
The wait staff seems to forget about you if you're outside and unfortunately if you have walnut or sesame allergies you cannot eat dessert (make a nut+seed-free option!), but the varenika is delicious and I'm happy there's Greek food again in Providence after the extinction event last year.
With its assorted small plates and excellent bar especially try the sangria and retsina , Fili never disappoints! The creatively designed Greek inspired interior makes us want to sit, eat, drink and relax , OFTEN!
Our first time to the restaurant for brunch. the menu attracted us because of the authenticity of the offerings, especially the varenika, which is a very old recipe that's almost lost and forgotten. Food was excellent! as well the Greek coffee and a very pleasant owner. Will be back for the Greek wine and dinner. Well done!
Love that they offer brunch , it was perfect small plates so we can taste the different dishes . The Cretan breeze mocktail was a perfect balance of taste .
It is a pleasure to see care. Care is taken in every aspect of this restaurant. Care is delivered in the form of exquisite cuisine. Everything that we ordered....was excellent. Familiar dishes were reinvented with creativity: Spanakopita, Ceviche, Keftedes (meatballs), and Baklava all tasted like they were prepared by a Greek grandmother who became a 4-star chef!
