Great date spot in downtown Providence. Our waitress was attentive and helped us select a wine based on our preferences. The goat cheese salad was delicious with the goat cheese itself being creamy and a good portion. For the pizza we had the Tartufo which was so good. The combination of cheese, spices, prosciutto and mushrooms was perfect. We will definitely be back.

Last minute on a Friday night, my wife and I decided we wanted napoletana pizza and found fungini online. When we walked in the restaurant was nearly empty but they told us everything was reserved and it would be a 40 minute wait. We were not in a rush so we decided to wait - mostly thinking there would be cancellations since there was so much seating seemingly available. However, within the next 1.5 hours every table including the bar was full. So yes - they do have reservations and they do take them seriously (which is good if you made one). Eventually someone left and we were seated. The food was outstanding - chicken thighs perfectly cooked and pizza was incredible (other reviewers may call it soggy but I call it perfect). It does take a very very long time to get your pizza when it is busy, but we were there to enjoy a night out so it was not a big issue. However, this probably should not be your go to place when you are wanting to get a quick bite on a weekend night. The pizza was so good that we decided to order a second (even with the known wait time). It was equivalent/better to the napoletana pizza I have had in Italy! The staff and service are excellent. Highly recommend!

Amazing restaurant. Have been going for years and never disappointed. The service is always fantastic. Our go-tos for appetizers are the chicken and the potatoes. Chicken is always so perfect and tender, and potatoes so flavorful. For pizza we do a Hells Girl which is like spicy pepperoni and hot honey and it is a 10/10. For the second pizza we usually do whatever the special is . They always have a new special sometimes with unique ingredients that we typically wouldn’t order or consider putting on a pizza but they are truly artists in the kitchen and we are always pleasantly surprised. The bartenders always crush it, whether we order off the menu or ask for the bartender to freestyle a drink they are always outstanding.

Terrible place. Service sucks. Waited an hour for a pizza and it wasn’t even that busy. Portions are small and not worth the money. Don’t suggest going here. On top of all that the small size bottle of coke they serve as your soft drink was 6 dollars and 3.00 for “hot honey” that wasn’t anything special like they tried to upsell it as. Might be one of the worst places we’ve gone to eat in the area

Best meal I have had in quite some time. The empress salad was phenomenal. The shrimp was packed with flavor. The margarita pizza is a can’t miss menu item! Can’t wait to go back!

Good food, and great atmosphere, food took a while to come. Maybe just the day of the week or order got lost in the hustle. Overall, great place and great people.

This is hands down the best pizza I’ve ever had, and I’ve lived in nyc and Florence. It was recommended to me by a friend from Turin and I’m stilling thinking about the pizza a week later. I ordered the marinara because of lactose intolerance. Light, airy dough. Explosive flavors in the sauce. I have a gluten allergy and I didn’t feel my usual heaviness afterwards. Can’t recommend highly enough. It’s loud on the street if you’re sitting outside but nice interior. Great service.

Bartender told me they closed early (almost an hour - because it was "a slow/mellow night"), despite the oven still going and a fresh pizza about to go in. I got food next door, saw two people walk in and were seated at the bar, they were obviously lying and just didn't want the business. That's cool, I was really looking forward to an actual Neapolitan style pizza, but I guess not.
From other reviews, it looks like I'm not the only one they've discriminated against. I'm sure they had their reasons for doing so.

The pizza is delicious, i love the crust!
Nice rustic place. The service was OK, not through the roof or down south. Staff were nice but something was definitely off. Not a fuzzy warm feeling, so dont expect a warm greeting. Service could be more genuine. Customers can feel the service.
Other than that, the pizza crust was the best here.
Stumbled upon this place by chance. What a gem! Great food and service. The snow pea salad was outstanding. Boneless chicken thigh appetizer is divine. Great craft beer on tap. Highly recommend.
