I'm a bit biased. The food is solid, but the crew and atmosphere definitely bring the Yahdee fast comfort food vibe. Get some pattie, tamarind balls, and Ting with your plate. Good place to pick up some water crackers in a pinch. IYKYK

Wonderful food after a night out at the zoo. Only regret was not getting bowls as we were coming from out of town and eating on the road. Oxtail was great, goat curry was perfect blend of flavor to heat. Overall, would return.

Good food! curry goat could use less salt, enjoyed it nevertheless. 10/18/25 not as it used to be. Got the medium ackee and saltfish, too salty. Overcharged of course. The price clearly says 14.99 but I was charged $20 for a medium. I can't say that I will go back. The older lady (cook) in the back was nice, I can't say for the cashier. Please let your customers know if your price is not as advertised. Be better! We can always take our business elsewhere, hope you know that.

Soo… I went to Wendy’s for my family, I happened to look back and seen Flames was packed with people, so I said to myself I’m going to try it…. I’m soo happy I did it was delicious! Thank you! I got Brown Rice, cabbage and curry goat!
Idk what in the recession is going on here but got the same thing I always get two plates with two meats and two beef patties. Stingy with the meat at that. Why’d it come out to 54 American dollars!! Lord have mercy I don’t think I can come back here again.

Just tried to call and place a very large catering order. They were unable to give me a price over the phone insisted I call someone else to get the price and then call back. I asked maybe just a quote and was yelled at and hung up on. Horrible customer service

Got me some king fish around 6pm. They knew very well that fish was completely dried out and still sold it to me for $25!!! I hate places like this. If its dried out be upfront, lower the price because nobody wants big pieces of dried out fish for that price. Flames in Mattapan would never!!!!
