Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar

I had dinner at Fleming’s Steakhouse in Providence yesterday. The restaurant itself was fantastic—great food, great service, and a great atmosphere. Unfortunately, my experience was completely overshadowed by what happened with the valet service.

I used their valet when I arrived, and I had two iPhone charging cables in my car: a traditional iPhone charger and my everyday USB-C charger that I use for CarPlay and GPS. When I returned to my car after dinner, the USB-C charger was missing.

I immediately reported this to the valet manager, and instead of taking the situation seriously, he was extremely dismissive and unprofessional. He rolled his eyes, gaslit me by implying no one would steal a charger, and made it seem like I was inconveniencing him. I explained clearly that I use that charger every single time I drive—it didn’t “fall” or “go missing.” It was taken.

The manager confirmed that they always lock the cars, but then told me they’re “not responsible for stolen items.” That’s not the issue—the issue is that an employee felt comfortable enough to take something from a customer’s car and the manager made zero effort to address it. His attitude was unhelpful, disrespectful, and completely lacking accountability.

I did not feel supported in any way, and it left a very bad impression after what was otherwise a great dinner. I truly hope Fleming’s looks into this and improves their valet service, because customers deserve to feel safe leaving their vehicles in their care.

I was in town for a convention so I decided to splurge and enjoy some meals at Felming's. Two nights there in a row involved a prime aged ribeye one night and a New York the next. Both of which were among the best steaks I've eaten. I ordered them medium rare and they came out perfectly!

The wait staff were friendly, professional, attentive, and helpful. The atmosphere in the restaurant was pleasant and welcoming.

This is definitely a spot I will be happy returning to.

Fleming’s is always our go to restaurant when we want to ensure we will have an amazing experience. Meredith is absolutely fantastic as a server and we had the pleasure of meeting the owner and also Chef Berto on our last visit. Everyone makes you feel so valued. And the food is just phenomenal. Always.

We attended the Tequila event on Saturday October 25th . The food was amazing one course was better than the other . The manager Daniel is excellent and personable I can see why Flemings is so successful under his leadership . The servers Scott and Melana were so accommodating, knowledgeable, polite , professional and fun . We sat with Kay and Kevin and had such a great time with them . The food , the servers , manager and our table guests made for a fabulous night . Highly recommend Flemings for a night out as well as attending their specialty dinners .

Had the best experience at Flemings in Providence RI. The bartender, G was phenomenal in taking care of our allergy requests and the most delicious cocktails. Steve, the manager came by and chatted with us and made us feel so welcomed. 10/10 will be back to enjoy the good atmosphere and service again.

I must first mention the service here.Malana (sp) was so attentive and sweet! Not to mention efficient. Not one misstep. If there was a college course for customer service, she should be a professor! She made a very special occasion even more special!
The food was very good in a lovely restaurant.
By the way, the carpaccio was to die for!

A terrific dinner where we all enjoyed petite filets and wine to match. Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection.

We had a reservation for 9 people at 7pm on a Thursday. We were there at 6:30 and seated in a private room. Milena provided us with outstanding service throughout the evening!! She was attentive, and friendly.

We started with the sweet chili calamari, crab cakes, beef carpaccio, and onion rings all of which were very good. I would have prefered the sweet chili on the side, for the calamari, but it was still very tasty.

I had the dry aged ribeye and the add on truffle lobster and cavier bearnaisse. The ribeye was delicious. I could have done without the lobster and cavier- they were very good, though.

The Fleming's potatoes, brussels sprouts, corn brulee, and mac and cheese sides were all yummy. The lava cake, and creme brulee were very good. And at the end a manager (I presume) (I think his name was Dan) gave us a box of truffles for our birthaverssary.

The food was delicious but overall it was Milena and the service that made the evening unforgettable.

Our server Scott was absolutely amazing and the service was just incredible! i will say my husband’s steak was overcooked, but they were quick to address the concern. Extraordinary service!I can’t wait to come back when I’m in Rhode Island!

Milena was the stand out star of the show. She made sure our whole party of 9 had everything we needed or wanted. She explained the menu well and answered all questions that we had. Milena anticipated our needs before we even knew what we wanted. We will be back if not for the delicious food but for the wonderful staff and service. I strongly recommend the chipotle cheddar Mac and cheese.

Sean is a great bartender! Friendly and very knowledgeable. I had the petite filet with espresso butter and it was exceptional. The tuna wontons on the social menu are also delicious!
